Flushing question

Everyone says the flush two weeks at the Harvest window. So if my plant takes 8 weeks to flower, I would Harvest it on the 10th week? is that correct? Also what if I feed water water water feed, does that mean i dont need to do a flush at all in the end? Thanks

if you have a 8 week strain you should start flushing once plants are about 6 weeks into flowering. Only use water during the flush without any fertilizer.

what nutrients do you use?
do the directions advise flushing?

Whats your grow medium?
If its soil then youd stop feeding week 6 on a 8 week strain.
Coco, 100% perlite or other neutral mediums 1 week is all you need since it wont hold the nutrants as long.
DWC, 4 days is enough that you see a massive change and the plant yellows.

The idea is that you clear your growing medium so that the plant starts to feed on its self by the time your ready to chop it so there isnt any excess build up.

I always flush mine but I dont base it off a time frame.
I wait until I have 50% cloudy trichs since the plants done all its growing and is now just maturing. Then I cut at 60% cloudy 30% amber, 10% clear which can be 1 to 3 weeks.

To flush media, it only takes 2-3 times the volume. After that, you're no longer flushing, youre starving. Call it what it is.

Flushing, or the correct term leeching, is rinsing the GROW MEDIUM in HYDROPONICS systems, of excess nutrient buildup. It only needs to be done a couple times, generally going into flower to reduce buildup of high N fertilizers and once about a week before harvest. Otherwise feed normally, only reducing nutrient levels the least week or so, as the plant requires.

Soil grows, generally, don't need flushing unless heavily supplemented with chemical fertilizers, and even then its not always needed.

Flushing is a marijuana specific MYTH. No where in agriculture is it done.
