Flushing

Why can't a person call it "flushing"? Isn't that what's happening?
Not what I described. The trick is not to over feed. The nute companies are in the selling business, so they will always tell you to use more than you really need. With nutes, more is not better. You gradually ease up the last couple of weeks. My flower method with a ten week flower is first 3 weeks veg nutes. Second 3 weeks half veg/half flower nutes. Last 3 weeks flower nutes, with the 3rd week being about half strength. Last week water only.

Flushing, as in dumping way more water in the soil than it can absorb flushes out any good microbes you might have going on. Weed does not like soggy roots. Your plant will not suck up all that extra water. It is going to go out the bottom of the pot. The plant will take up less water than usual because it is being flooded.

flushing doesn't work. unless its a toilet. the proper term is leaching, and its to remove buildup you get in soil outside, after years of improper practices, or spills of some kind. its not intended to do anything to plants, its intended to clean up damaged or mistreated soil.
its a complete and total waste of time. you cannot remove nutrients from a plant once they are in it. period. i don't care who told who what, when they told them, where they were at, or if it was raining or not at the time. none of it makes any difference. at the end of their lives, plants are focusing on producing buds, they're using all the stored nutes (which have actually been broken down already into ions that are now part of the plant, and CANNOT be removed) to produce buds. anything you do just slows down the process, which is exactly what you don't want to be doing.
i water with plain ph'ed water the last week to ten days, not to get rid of anything, not to remove anything, just because i feel the plant has enough stored resources by then, and anything else i add would just be a waste.
you say i'm smoking nutes if i don't flush, i say you need to take highschool chemistry and botany 101, then get back to me.

I just wanted to thank you guys for not giving me any serious info as i might have ended up using it and ruined the plant. Obviously you aren't very educated on this subject based on you immediately resorting to immature behavior rather than understanding that there's many nuances involved like how many gallons of water to use. Do u do it daily? Twice a day? Every other day? Does the plant still need to perform photosynthesis (does it need sun for you 3rd graders) during this period? Etc. Your knowledge on this subject is limited (like your maturity) so thank you for not seriously replying. I'd hat to see what would have happened had I used the word "poop". Lol. Loser.

put it in toilet, push handle:dunce:

View attachment 4015411 unicorn pee is your best bet. Dilute to 666ppm. Best flushing results when Uranus rising.

Flushing is a myth. You can't force water through a plant to 'remove' nutrients. You can't move immobile elements. Nor are nutrients stored in buds. 'You effing idiot'

Nutrients that are "leached" on the soil and roots right? U know damn well what I'm talking about dude. But for some reason I grown adults (apparently) go off into kindergarten la la land triggered over the word flushing. And then u wanna play afterwards me be all technical about the definition. You're a dolt and u know u r.
