it all depends what type of flies they are.

Can you get a pic?

as there are many different species of what you call flies.

Do you mean normal house flies
Do you mean fungus gnats
Do you mean white fly
do you mean green fly

etc

A pic will help. Your description doesnt help anyone to identify your problem.

green fly's. At the moment its dark out and i vacuumed them all up. Will get a pic tomorrow. Green fly's red eyes. Usually seen in the house out out in the yard on dog crap. Better description. just like a normal house fly. I noticed dark spots on my plants the other day. small small spots will take pics tomorrow plants are sleeping.

This is the species. Usually there is between 15-30 after 2 days. Currently in the garage. Until the grow box is done. Does this help and share enough detail?

They do look like what i call death flies. You usually find them around dead animals or birds etc.

Have you checked your grow area for anything that is dead?

Rats, mice, cats, birds, anything.

I am unsure to be honest whether they are a plant pest or whether they are just "resting on your plant" I personally dont have any troubles with flies like this.

You could get yourself some HOT SHOTS NO PEST STRIPS these will work against anything that crawls or flies, 1 strip will release enough of its vapour in a room 1200cu ft in size.
