foaming reservoir WTF????

foam in my rez is starting to cause one of my plants to wilt. any suggestions on whats going on there? im going to change out the tank and put in fresh nutes. im thinking it was one of the additives. anyone know why there is foam and what causes it? thanks

idk you stats on what your useing not that im an expert. but if its organic hydro then it could be the microbes maybe? and chemicals idk i couldnt guess other then bad reaction to your mixture. some info would be valuable

This occasionally happens. First try dosing with 29%, 35%, or 50% H202 in the appropriate dosage. No more nutes or other additives until foam goes away. If it clears up, dose with H202 every 4 or 5 days thruout the grow.
You should NOT be using molasses in a hydro reservoir.

fuck that...drain it & clean it with bleach..and start with fresh nutes...why play with it if its fucking with your plants?

Could be a bacterial or fungal root issue. Are your roots covered in slime (white, clear, or brown)? Does it smell funny in the rez? Any light leaks into the rez? What kind of system are you using?

thanks for all the replies i changed the water in the rez and cleaned it out of course. now fresh water and nutes and its all good. i poured a liter of piranha and it cause a reaction and bubbles went all over the place. imo most AN additives are crap what they promise to do would be nice but most f t he time they are designed for most hydro systems and simply cause more harm than good.
