Food Dye?

can i put food dye in my hydro set and turn my plants different colors?

You know there was a bunch of ridiculous purple weed goin around here a few months back, it was wayy wayy to purple.

many suspected food dye.

the bud was also semi-wet.

If it sat for a few days the color would fade.

I think it is possible to do so if you dont fully cure and dry your buds, but it effects the taste (maybe) at least it did with the stuff we had around.

otherwise it would get pushed out the plant as it dries.

You do not want to add food dye. It is not natural and not good for your plants. If you want color in your plants you should buy strains that produce color. If only it was that easy

..you were right..it affects the taste....when i was younger i knew a couple assholes who would do this to their weed...they were doing this to make purp...shit this was like 15 years ago or so...but i remember they fucked up a batch and lost on a qp of humbolt green...this was when a qp was around 1200-1300....they quit after that mistake

I knew a club that used to wrap the sample buds from vendors in wet paper towels if they looked really purple. kind of funny when you see a bud bleed out the dye into a paper towel.


They would taste about half of it first, of course

if it works it would only make sense to that it would change the hairs to a diff colour and the leaves darker.try it wit lowgrade and see the idiots gloat over the colourful bud

Honestly the clubs didnt care around here they bought it up like mad, because all the patients started asking for it by name. "the Black Purple stuff", I didnt think it was all that special but it sold like wildfire....

I thought a long time ago in a hightimes I saw a product being advertised as a bud colorer but I can find it anywhere on the internet.

The ad specifically said not food coloring, it was something special...

But the weed was more black than purple...

But why would we do this to our beautiful plantsss, I wouldnt...

to sell it and make money lol

my plants wouldnt need this to sell
