Football=no smoking!?!?!

I joined the football team and today was our first practice...I ran a 7:30 mile(slowed by 1 minute and 30 seconds from 2 months of smoking) :'( I'm not fat either but I got all summer to get faster. But yeah I can't smoke cause that would be like wasting all that hard work. Anyone have any good alternatives that are faster than THC drops? I don't really like the idea of waiting 2 months with not getting high. I'll start the THC drops soon but I need something to hold me over.

Your saying its from smoking bud? I have never noticed any hard of breathing and I have been smoking for almost 10 years, and I'm still young as hell. Just start running more man your probably just out of shape a little bit. It doesn't really have to do with anything about being fat. You probably just aren't used to running miles?? I run like three miles a day, if you do that shit you'd be able to snap in a mile run for sure.

when i played football 2 years ago for my highschool team, I ran a hell lot more then a mile, hell i lifted weights..Smoking bud prob got me through most of that..shit i went to school feeling alot less sore saying if i didnt smoke bud..

My football team ran my ass hard..I was a wide reciever but i was around 190-200 pounds smoking a little bit more then a few grams to edge the physical pain i got from the workouts and practices we had..Shittt im getting muscle cramps just thinking about it..

you got it easy.

I ran 3-5 miles a day when I was on the track team ;) I'm used to running like I said I used to run a 6 min. mile busting ass. Now I run untill just before I throw up and it's a 7:32 mile time. Idk maybe it's just cause I stopped running for like 1 month:confused: I hope so...

edit: yeah I don't smoke anything else, idk I just won't smoke the day before I run again. Cause I remember I smoked a day before I ran 5 miles and it was insane how hard it was but over the next couple of days it got way easier. Maybe I just get shitty lung capacity for like a day after I smoke:confused: idk I'll run again on monday and find out.

yeahh not really lol practice just started for next year. It was like the day they get height, weight, 40 yd. dash, 1 mile time, etc. like I said before I used to (1 month ago) be able to easily knock out 1 mile, I still can but just not nearly as fast. I'm just gonna run tomorrow after lifting and see how it goes *hopes for the best*. idk why suddenly I got so slow :(.

We started lifting and running on the 1st of January. You may have it a bit easy, but easy isn't really a word to describe competitive football and training. Good luck, maybe cut back on the chiefing for a minute. It'll also bring your tolerance down some which can always be fun!

vape it up. i usually vape at temps of 350-360 and that produces a nice vapor. the vape ur inhaling isnt smoke and it doesnt harm your lungs

It's not the weed... you must have been like completely stagnant for that entire month... weed shouldnt effect you're running, and even if it did, not NEARLY that badly... i lifted weights in school, got my bench to 140lbs... then didnt bench alll summer... came back, and could only get 115lbs.. however, once you become active again you'll gain back you're performance quickly. just get back into the flow and you'll run 6mins in no time

yea I only walked from class to class and to my house:mrgreen: good to hear I'll be back in no time. I still haven't run the mile because we're maxing out everything all week.

For sure:mrgreen: I'm glad I can still smoke too. I didn't want to drop a few hundred dollars for a vaporizer.

Your mile time got worse because of smoking? Fuck, I smoke just about every night now and my mile time has only gotten better (currently 6:55, down from about 8:00 a month ago). I partly contribute it to my smoking.

I started smoking in 8th grade. I played football from 7th-12th and started on varsity as a sophmore. I smoked a dime a week usually. I remember after 2-a-days me and my friends would get high and go swim in the river to relax. Its hot and humid as hell in TX during those 2 weeks!
