For all you soil growers out there

I use rapid-rooters for clones as well. Sometimes soil for seeds. I grow bonsai etc and often transplant from soil in pots to hydro/vice versa etc, prune roots off or whatever. You would be suprised what the root system can put up with if kept watered and nute/ph but especially root oxygen levels. That's where the potential problem lies with 'over-potting' into too large a pot. The soil the pot has no roots in will remain damp.
