Forbidden Plants In Forbidden Citie

Hello RIU Grow-Nutz!
As the title goes, forbidden grows. Unlike the vast majority here on RIU, I don't like in a state where growing is legal. Still, it is my utmost belief that any plant on this earth that was here b4 man shouldn't be cast aside, outlawed, n deemed illegal by man. I have 2 successful grows under my belt, but I'm no expert n definitely a noob by all accounts! With that being said, let's talk the dirty talk...
I'm growing a Bubblicious Fem by Nirvana Seeds. I also have a seed going that I'm not 2 sure what it is, but it's either 1 of these 2.. Sour Diesel auto by Dinafem or its NY Diesel Fem by Visions seeds. Got mixed up, but I will be able to tell when it's time for flowering. I'm using 2 Mars Hydro reflect series n 1 Mars Hydro ll. I have tents(4.5x4.5x6.5 n 3.5x3.5x5.5) but not using them at the moment.My 1st Grow was Hydro, my 2nd grow was FFHF soil with a 20% perlite mix. Since the 2nd grow, I've been doing my homework n trying to find the better ways of growing the girls out to their full potential. I've watch countless YouTube videos, viewed so many pplz pages here on RIU, n I also joined Tapatalk. From reading n watching various techniques, I became intrigued with Super Soil n Living soil, both are no till methods. So, this time around I decided to go the living soil route. I figured this must be the way that man done it b4 all the technology n ways to create grow nutes, bloom nutes, n other enhancers. While I'm not a dude who cares either way being Organic n non-Organic grows, this is how I came to stumble upon organic n respect the whole aspect of the way the plant survives n thrives just by feeding the soil alone or the soil food web. Totally blew my mind! So, my Bubblicious is 47 days old from seed n the Diesel is about 37 days from seed. I haven't kept adequate pics on the girls, but I have pics from fairly the beginning til now. Since this is my 1st no till attempt, I have no nutes to report. I'm feeding my compost worms basically plant waste such as dried leaves n any leaves I've defoliated from the 2 girls. I'm learning how to make compost teas n that 2 is what I will be feeding the worms. Teas will consist of alfalfa meal, kelp meal, n popcorn seeds that began to sprout n then grounded in a blender n bubble'd. Well, I think I've covered my grow n how I'm doing it so far. I will have updates weekly n I hope I get some of you growers out there who are also growing in a Forbidden City! Keep growing RIU.. It's the only way we'll be able to get the shackles removed from the ever faithful Cannabis Plant!!! Just a note... the last 2 pics are from earlier 2 day n it's right after transplanting from a 5 gal bucket to 10 gal smart pots... I know, my ladies look STRESSED!

hell yeah man looking good , and i too live in a place where its still illegal but most people including my neighbor does not care one bit which is nice

My shit is illegal af too. I feel that if laws are outdated or unjust it is your civic duty to break them. Once you get a taste of that organic bud you'll never look back. Keep the worms happy & they will do most of the work for you. Good luck and happy growing.

I couldn't agree with ya more... If anything, let's just look at the times we're living in. The least of any laws concerns should be with a cannbis grower or toker. Imho, I don't think it ever should've been a corncern cause maybe those in the US would still have original landraces, but I'll leave that discussion 4 another time. Regular window lighting n your already budding? You must have one hell of a window! Lol. That's truly awesome. My apologies for the rush msg earlier. I don't think my neighbors care much either, but I always worry about the company they keep n if they'll feel the same way, so not 2 risk it, I pretty much have the ladies tucked away. My power was out the other day n I had to bring the ladies out to get some sun since they're still in veg stage. I didn't wanna risk them thinking it was time to flower. Power came back on after 24hrs, so I don't think it did any real damage. If ya don't mind me asking, what ladies are you growing out at this point n about how far are ya into your grow? I'm gonna have more pics during the wknd. I was in the middle of trying to bubble some compost tea n threw the brew out once my power got cut off. Now, I'm starting a new batch that should be done in 24-36 hrs. Will be my first real batch of compost tea. I'm really stoked about the whole no-till path I'm on right now n the ladies aren't doing 2 bad which makes me a happy camper. I have plans on growing all yr round this time, cause I'm really learning a lot n don't wanna have to take a break when the cold weather rolls around. So, stick with me n I'm sure we'll be able to conquer any Grow issues that may come our way. Keep up the awesomeness n hope to hear from ya soon!

no worries man yeah only one of my neighbors knows but hes cool as hell i sold a gun to him a few months ago and it smelled like weed in his place. but hell yeah its a lucky spot get direct sun from 230 to about 9 ish and indirect all morning but one of them is an auto thats either 9 or 10 weeks and the other i started before july but its about 5-6 weeks its a hermie but it smells like pure dank so i kept it. but all my others are in veg and just waiting for a good time to start since i can only fit two or a few small ones in my closet at a time for 12-12. but yeah im actually going to try that with this huge indica i have , leave it to maybe fall and see how much bigger itll get

Sounds 2 me like you have the perfect neighbor next door. I miss the days of ppl that minded their own business n if it's something that's not affecting them directly 2 turn the other cheek... Simpler times bro... simpler times. I wish I had good sunlight, cause I would rather get my lighting from good ol Mother Nature. In my spot, the sun is basically sporadic n really doesn't light up 1 given area for 2 long. Not 2 mention all the new buildings surrounding has block any chance of decent sunlight n eliminated those of us who grow anything in our backyards. So, myself personally had to get crafty! I have 2 Grow tents that I haven't set up yet cause I'm not sure if I should run in indoors or out. I just have my Led lights surrounding the ladies out in the open of a garage. I like to try n test out different techniques to hopefully pass off some good info to those who aren't rich or even well off in the pockets n need to grow super cost effectively.... Myself included! I grow 4 myself as of right now, just so I don't have to buy off of unreliable ppl. Plus, the less hands that have touch the buds is better bud to me. Hopefully, I can obtain enough knowledge on growing to eventually create my very own monster strain the would benefit both the recreational smoker n the medicinal smoker. Hey, my 1st Grow was a DWC closet grow n I failed at the very end! Still, it gave me enough courage to not give up n try again. Since I mentioned it, always remember that there's no such thing as failing or a bad Grow. It's all part of what I like to call 'Another life/Grow lesson learned!' Learn from the so-called fuck-up, misjudgments, too many nutes, too little nutes, n any other grow problem you may encounter. With that being said, I'm gonna stop running my mouth from here. Will keep posting pics whenever I feel there's news or something new going on. I should have a new seedling popping up in a day or 2, so stay tuned!!

Hey Pplz!
So, I don't know if I mentioned that I'm growing in a super/living soil that I've amended on my own. I wanted to stop being drained in the pockets from all the bottle nutes. I'm not much of an organic nut, but if that's what I'm achieving by leaving the bottled nutes alone, then so be it! I'm also a see it to believe it type of person, so I wanted to see if the super/living soil I put 2gether was actually doing something. So, besides my 2 ladies that are well established as far as age goes, I wanted to test the soil out on a seedling from young n what better way to do so than 2 throw a bean directly into your medium without germinating 1st to see if it'll pick up. So, I took a small pot bout 5" high n a diameter of 2", filled her with the living soil n popped a bean in, LSD-25 Fem by FastBuds to be exact, on 7/30. I just took a look at the ladies as I do every morning to make sure all is well n I noticed the LSD was up! Now, I don't know if it's me, but her stem looks pretty thick for just popping up n only exposing its 1st 2 leaves.. I've taken a couple of pics. Let me know what you guys think! Gonna stop here. Hey Everyone!
It's been a while since I had an update, but I've been kinda busy. Not only am I trying to get my cannabis plants up to par n as healthy as possible. I also have poppies that I'm trying to grow as well as mushrooms, so I hope it's understood why I've been absent. So, getting back to the plants. I have no exact age on the plants at the moment n I've ran into a few complications. 1st, I thought that I was messing up the whole process of growing by not transferring them to different pots at different stages. I usually just sprout the seeds as while their still seedlings, I usually replant them into their permanent pots which is usually a 5 gal. painters bucket. This time around, I've sprouted the seeds n once seedlings, I switched them to 1 gal. pot. Once their roots reach the bottom, I switch them to the 3 gal. pot, then 5 gal. n ending at 10 gal. pot. Now, some or most have went from the 3 to the 10, due to the height of the 5 gal. is taller than my 10 gal. So, my problem is 1 of my plants, LSD-25 looks like it's going into the next stage of growth, which would be flowering, but we're literally talking bout a plant that is no bigger than a few inches tall! I truly don't know what or where I went wrong there, but I'm just gonna grow her out n see what happens. I have 2 plants that looks as if their still in the seedling stage n also seems to be growing slow. 1 of them is Sour Bubbly by Mephisto Genetics, n the other is Kali x China by Guatemala Aces, I believe? I'm not sure when I planted them exactly, but I would have to back log a bit here on RIU. Now, from reading many n a plenty of grow journals n post, I know the Mephisto genetics is one of the best producer of high quality of seeds, so it must be something that I'm overlooking n not catching, cause I truly believe that the size of the plant is smaller than what it should be. As far as nutes go, I'm it using any. I'm on a no-till diet n doing everything pretty much natural or organic. That means I'm not using any bottled nutes n I'm feed my soil compost teas(which I must say I haven't done 1 in a few weeks) n regular Ph'd water. I also have tried making clones from my oldest plant which is Bubblicious by Nirvana I believe. I have successfully cloned, so I hope it'll grow properly. I haven't mentioned the Bubblicious cause I sent it into flower n I haven't succeeded in getting her to flower yet, although I had switched her to 12/12 for a few weeks now. Only thing that comes in bottles that I've used so far is SuperThrive n humid acid. Other than that, I use kelp meal, alfalfa meal, sprouted n grinded popcorn seeds, n a few other natural ingredients to make my compost teas. I don't use all the ingredients at once, but I do use some in a combination. I'm posting whatever pics I have of the plants on my tab now n I will edit n post others in a few when I go into the grow area. Plz excuse me for jumping all over the place with my thoughts, n nothing i wrote is in order, so plz excuse me. So, here are some pics of maybe a few days or a week ago n plz pardon my lights.
