Force flowering?

What? your saying not to do 48 but rather 24?NO. put in total darkness for 24hrs then 12/12. or you can do the 24hrs then 10/14 till they preflower then set to 12/12
and im confused about the bold part, does that mean if i can't do 12/12 to do 10/14? or if i cant do the 24 hour darkness to do the 10/14.

i just put mine straight into 12/12. they grew quick. why wait 24 or 48 hours?
the wait in darkness is an old method i read years back on overgrow.com. during the time of darkness it forcess a change to start the flowering process.

In the past I always waited 24. This time I went strait to 12. Im happy so far and was in the past also. To each is own. The outdoor plants never get a 24 hour process, even with us rushing the cycle I think between the feeding and the light switch in general is enough. Go with what you feel. I do also think 48 is to long.. Keep us posted on your grow.. Peace!!

word. well from my experience, they start flowering without the extended darkness period...19 outta 19 times. i'll try the 24 next time though, thanks for the ideas, to BlazeonE too.

You Are Making Them Think They Are Dieing Even More Than Droping Your Light From 18/6 To 12/12 It Will Cause Your Plants Lots Of Stress But If U Just Drop Your Light To 12/12 They Will Start Flowering Just As Good In A Few Days
If U Dont Have A Need To Do This Dont Do It
At Harvest Time I Would Keep My Plants In Darkness For 48 Hours

Leave Them In 48 Hours Darkness B4 You Trim And Chop Your Buds Off It Will Help Get Out Whatever Thc From Whats In The Leaves And Steams
alright will do, now obviously this is only for indoor, anythinglike this done with outdoor plants?
