Hi, I've searched google all night to no avail. I am doing a Perpetual Grow / Harvest I have found 2 of my mexi- bagseed plants to be herm I am growing 5 or 6 confirmed strains as well. I found 2-3 nanners on 1 mexi that was 6-7 weeks in flower almost finished. Well I harvested it immediately and found no seeds or seedpods forming.....Well this made me give the rest of my girls a thorough inspection and all my confirmed strains are fine no nanners/seedpods. Then I look at another mexi-bagseed just starting week 2 of 12/12(that had it's main stem/cola snapped and mended) and found a hard calyx/seedpod forming. But i didn't see any male parts  I have several different plants all in different stages that don't look affected. This plant is all the way on the other side of a densely populated cab. My question is How did this happen? Was this just a case of two isolated hermie cases? stress? I've checked for light leaks before. Could this plant have pollinated itself and only itself. Will my entire crop be ruined?!?!? O yea sorry no pics..these two are D-E-A-D

Unless you find a male flower in there, you will never know. It is possible a stray bit of pollen worked its way in from outside. If you want to prevent further seed formation now, and in the future, you might want to check into Dutch Masters Reverse. It kills any male flowers without affecting the female flowers, and stops seed formation in its tracks.

It is a survival trait of the plant. Sometimes plants will make a couple seeds on their own to ensure survival of the plant species. No worries.

bigv1976 is like totally correct, and the best part about these hydro seeds, they're garanteed moms. It's a good thing, something you can put aside in case you find you have to shut your op down in a hurry, you still got these seeds that are your next moms, garanteed!

Not sure where you got your info from but it is not guaranteed to be anything and hydro has nothing to do with it.

I just wanted to see how did this one plant threw nanners late in flower and didn't have seeds. and another had them forming along the stem on the other side of my cab with no nanners. Just being cautios I lost alot of sleep hoping I didn't ruin this harvest. I'll keep a eye out for anything suspicious......
