Need help please, I am in week 8 of flowering and just seen early seed development in my plants. Found only a few mature seeds and lots of immature seeds. The plants did cope a water logging at around weeks 5-6 flowering and i did continue on using H@G's Shooting Powder when i proberly shouldn't of, so they were a little stressed but looked OK. Just wondering whether I should keep flowering or pull them up? Trichs are still mostly clear with some cloudy and no amber. Plant will put energy into seed production and not trichs now? :wall:

At 8 weeks in, finish them off till done. No sense in wasting all that time. I'm assuming it caught you by surprise and was due to hermie and not a male? Before anyone says it, no that doesn't mean you have fem seeds.

a hermid female will most likely produce female seeds, that will hermi...also, how many plants hermid? if its just one get it out of the room, if its all of em, finish em out, maybe hash them

Yes it has caught me of guard. I have grown this strain many times before and never had a problem with it. I put it down to stress from when i found my waste hose squashed. Which filled my 30 lt pots, i didn't know in till they started to overflow. They were sitting in water logged pots for a week or so. Seed development is not on all colas, and is only in new flower growth from the shooting powder about the top inch or so.
Let them finish you say?

keep an eye out for hermies or a male in there but let them finish. if theres a male pull it and if theres a hermie you can carefully pull the pollen pods off so you dont get anymore seeds

Thanks people. I have made my mind up. There getting started on there flush of blueberry rinse, then some dark time and chop chop at end of the week. I am sick of seeing them in there now and i want to get my new grow going. Next grow will be a journal.

Good plan...sometimes it is better to chop early and get more product then to wait and get less.

I'm feelin ya chipper, two grows ago I had the same thing, they were looking soo good, massive in fact till I did a closer inspection...I put mine down to heat and oversized plants for the room, live and learn. Sounds like that flooding def caused the issue.

Funny you brought this up on my thread as I was just downstairs making bubble hash with the leftovers of that very grow (finally got round to it). Its surprising how many seeds pop to the surface during the process, I'd say around 1-2 thousand from a single plant, fuckas!! Useless no less.

Hey there Haydoon, I was a little pissed off, but have calmed down now. I pulled a few small branches off for a closer inspection and there are a lot of cloudy trichs and the odd amber one so it is closer enough(better than i first thought). Seed growth is to in all colas but the ones the have some fat arse immature seeds in them. I changed my mind on the use of Shooting Powder though, will be giving it the flick after this episode. I am happy with the rest of House@Garden's range however. Another couple of weeks though and it would of gone close to my Best!

Hard lesson for this old guerrilla grower on seed sources. A friends kid found "just 2 seeds" in this bag of incredible. I popped them. Both germinated and grew. Took a lot of clones off both, both were vegged 2 months (great huge wide indica) and then put in the dark for 36 hours, switched to 12/12 and both indicated female. Left on 12/12 due to lack of veg room or I would have put them back to cook a while longer. Good crap, a hermie shows up. Adios to it. Then another and another . . . altogether about 6 plants, all clones of both indicas which have never yielded a single male bud and never did.

An experienced indoor man tells me my 36-hour black period helps "normal" plants or does no harm. But it might stress a plant with hermie tendencies to "come out". He is who said to leave single or scarce seeds in bags alone as they were likely from a hermie plant. These plants yield seed with a genetic tendency to hermie.

Now one plant could have produced all these hermies. I wasn't record keeping, just growing the stuff. But very odd to me that neither donor plant turned hermie. I'm no expert for sure.

I've got the same problem in week 8 now so going to flush and pull asap! Will there be seeds in the top cola's as I've only found seeds on low buds which I've pulled loads off
Cheers
