...so this morning was the fourth frost in my area this year....this week. four out of last 6 days have been frosts. I know they dont usually go past the 2nd maybe 3rd one but i wanted to get every one's opinion on it before i go cuttin.

I have some that are only 4 wks and some that are almost 6. Some have the cover of the woods, some have none and are in open fields....

what is your opinion on, if i should cut them tonight, or before next frost... or how much more should they go? i already know they arnt' going to get the full 7-8 wks needed.

when i say - i have some only 4 wks and some that are almost 6" I am talking about weeks flowering.

when i say "I already know they arnt' going to get the full 7/8 wks needed" i am talking about weeks flowering.

Check the plants. If there is any sign of bud rot, or any signs of the plants dying, harvest it. If everything looks good and the plant still looks health and strong, leave it. I'd just check it every day after a frost, but maybe you can't. It's risky, but it'll pay off. I probably visit my sites more in the last couple weeks before harvest than the whole rest of the season combined. Just because you gotta stay on top of bud rot and keep an eye on when to harvest. If you can't visit too often, make sure they're still alive and take em down next frost to be safe.

How's the temp in the day? My temp almost hits frostt but everyday is sunshine. If your buds get frost and thaw to slow then your buds will rot. I would hope for warmer temps for a week or two. I got it now myself in Canada

Hey man our plant looks good! I'm in ontario and the weather got a little sketchy for a couple days but its goning to be nice enough for my plants for at least another week around here..I was ready to pull them a week ago!I've noticed a big difference already and letting the soil dry and some malasses has started the buds on a war path!heh heh....considering how pre-mature they were!

thanks guys! sorry for the delayed response - WORK.

anyways yah they were all kinda REAL LIGHT frosts. they were frosts non the less though. some of my neighbors lawns were frosted and some were'nt. low thirties were the temps.. nothing in the twenties yet. Everything as of wednesday looked AWESOME, un-affected, and BIG!

I think my conclusion is: Let them go til the next frost and then take 'em then. Any way i look at it some arnt' going to finish. some are only on wk four - that would bring me to almost the end of october for a full 7-8 wks of flowering. VERY DOUBTFUL.

oh well - if it's early i will flip what i got, and buy some good shit. Better than early

WE WILL SEE, ONLY TIME WILL TELL!!

THANKS GUYS!

did that box thing work, i check mine every day. and they have been getting ice looking frosted, turning purp. low 30's supose to rain tomorrow? dont know if i should let them get rained on or harvest before the rain comes. its a little warmer tonight in Ohio. any sugestions on if I should harvest now or wait it out. they still look fine exept the biger fan leaves are all starting to sag a bit now. Hairs allmost 85-90% red trich's just milky or still clear. been watered and fed 2-3 times a week in dug out holes filled with organic mix I mixed up. with ukaliptus mulch. its supose to keep bugs away. still had slug problems though

Yea i had a couple slugs on my plants as well.I pulled my plant out the morning before it snowed. Here it was okay to do that cause it was warm enough during the day.I certainly didn't want to have snow directly on my babies.I used the box to keep the rain off and the soil a little less moist.Duno how much heat it was keeping in but I do think that it worked cause it kept the frost off...some kinda heat source in there would have been ideal.
