None of these FF soils are "hot" guys, if there is a problem its something else.

Well, I suppose certain genetics, do handle the onslaught of immediately available nutrients that mix offers.

I have grown 3 plants in SF along 3 others using OF and 3 others using my own mix. Same strain. The OF out performed the other 2. My soil came in second and the SF dead last. The SF seems to compact a lot more and retains water longer. I have enough for 1 more plant and instead of 25% perlite I am going to use about 40%.

I grew exactly one plant in Strawberry Fields. A four week old clone in a number #1 nursery square, that was started in Happy Frog, was transplanted into a 7 gal of Strawberry Fields. Within a week, with water only, it was curled, clawed, and gnarled from nutrient toxicity. Completely scorched.
Strawberry Fields is like Ocean Forest, with chemical ferts added....
White hot soil.
From my experience, with one bag. My LA Chocolate definitely hated it.
Not sure what you are doing wrong, but I doubt the Strawberry Fields is it. I'm using it, Ocean Forest, and Coco Loco in varying ratios with great results!

This Lil' Lady (Pine Warp) is in a soilponic bucket in 100% Coco Loco

Here she in on January 10th...

Here she is today...

All three of the larger plants in the back are in 50\50 Ocean Forest \ Strawberry Fields blend.

About 5 weeks in and I haven't had to add ANY nutes yet! I run RO water I make myself that is 15ppm and about 6 - 6.5ph.

I'm not pretending to be a professional, but I have to wonder if it isn't your water damaging your plants because my plants LOVE this soil!

I use strawberry fields with autoflowers and ocean forest with strawberry fields on the bottom for photos. I start them in solos of ocean forest. I dt have much problems w either. I dt have anything orange in soil either.
