Fox Farms Oxygenator

Well I am doing a ebb and gro system and was told I need to use H202.....now my local hydro store doesn't carry this product in stock so instead I had to go with Fox farms Oxygenator which they do carry. Now I will be using this in a 55 gallon drum per 50 gallons and was a little confused on the ratio I should be using. I have heard of 1ml per gallon and I have also heard 5ml per gallon.....I was just curious if anyone has tried this product and if so how much I should use and how often to replenish.

I am using Hydro-ton as my medium.
As long as you're not using an organic line of nutrients or trying to add any beneficial organisms to your reservoir the h2o2 will help. If you're doing any of those things however, the h2o2 will kill off the beneficials, so you'd want to add an enzyme product instead.

I do understand what the product does.....I just need to know how much of the product to use.

should have directions on it right? If not ask the guys who sold it to you. Only a few suggestions, good luck

there is a space on the bottle with an empty box and next to the empty box says ml/ gal..... at the top it says ratio may vary greatly (so I'm guessing that nobody marked a suggested ratio)..... the guys at the store told me to use 1ml per gallon (but they tell me whatever everyone else says so i cant really rely on them).....

Do you mind if I ask you how much you paid for your "Fox Farms Oxygenator"? I hope you realize that H2o2 is simply hydrogen peroxide that you can purchase at your local drug store or wal mart.

I have the 29% h202 jug at home. The instructions state 3ml/gallon and that is what I have been using. I add that in EVERY 4 days; which is to say I replenish it mid week before the next rez change. I typically replenish at 2ml/gallon. Things look good so far so I'm sticking with that.

No, not unless your walmart (who the fuck shops at walmart anyways) carries the 29% h2o2. It is VASTLY cheaper and typically doesn't contain some of the additives that the brown bottle stuff can have in it. I paid $15 for a gallon of 29% h2o2.

That's a pretty good deal, I have a gallon in the basement that I use for cleaning. Mine is an off brand, I think I paid around 20.

I paid about 25 bucks....and mine is 35% hydrogen peroxide......And like mr. ganja said it is way cheaper to buy a gallon of a high concentration of hydrogen than to buy a bunch of little bottles which i think are only 3% anyways....(plus all the crap they put in there as fillers).

I have yet to see 35% H2O2 in Wal*Mart.... If they carry, please tell me what aisle?
