Freakin Loud Outside!! Help!

My portable A/C unit displaces noise outside and I dont want the neighbors to get suspicious, how do i silence it a little?? I'm drawin a blank, help please

if its the exhaust you can send that through a box like a muffler

Unless you live in a cold climate and you're running the AC in the middle of winter, I don't see what the problem is. Screw the neighbors, if anyone asks, tell them it's a humidifier or a dehumidifier and that you're not loony enough to run an AC unit when it's 35 degrees out. Not sure of your situation, but air conditioners are common and shouldn't draw any unneeded or unwanted attention.
