Fresh, Fresh Frozen Or Dried For Cannabutter?

Hope this isn't a newb question but can you use fresh trim for cannibutter? Are there any pros or cons and does the recipe have to be varied at all? Thanks in advance for any help on this matter!

Use DRY trim and use lots of water to get the green out. The drier the better.

I never use the buds, I use the trim. However u want to make sure its super dried!!! You can then take your dried leaf or bud and stick it in a deep freezer or regular freezer for a couple of days. This helps knock off the kief.

Yes, I do. Normally I use 2 oz. of buds for canna-coconut oil. If I make water hash first, I double the amount for the canna-coconut oil. Coconut oil works better than butter, holds more cannabis. It goes wet, right from the water hash bag to the crockpot.
