'Friend' pricing for medibles

Hey all,

My girlfriend just made our first batch of medibles (squares, brownies and we're now moving along to gummy bears).

Although I'm not selling them, I have a few close friends who I want to give some to, and they are fully aware that I'm not giving away for free.

My question is, what do medibles go for on the street and/or in a dispensary?

The batch I have right now contains approx .75 grams per square, and it is primo bud. I've tested myself and the high is incredible and lasts about 5-7 hours.

I'll give about a 25% discount from street value, once I get some ideas on how to gauge the value of the eats.

Thanks,

-spek

My girlfriends dad always sold me his tinctures and 5"x5" brownies made with the best bud I've smoke for $5.. Why not just give them one each and let them come crawling back with cash in handkiss-ass

well first you need to calculate the cost of the ingredients like you would do with any regular baking, just add cannabis as one of the costs

"Once everything is listed with the cost you will need to break everything down into the amounts you would use in a recipe. For example, one cup of that $3.50 bag of flour costs about 17 1/2 cents. Round it up to 18 cents. The equation looks like this - 5 pounds of flour = $3.50
20 cups of flour in 5 pounds
$3.50/20 = .175 cents, rounded up to 18 cents.
You will break each ingredient down in a similar manner. Now, get your recipe out and add the cost to each ingredient like this -

  • 2 cups flour 0.36
  • 2 eggs 0.23
  • 1 cup milk 0.18
Do that with each ingredient. When you have all of the ingredients priced add them all up. For this example we’ll say that the entire cost of this recipe is $2.75. Divide the entire cost by the number of servings – in this case we’ll call it 12 cupcakes. 2.75/12 = 0.23. Always round up to the next penny when there is a fraction of a cent."

hope that helps its what i do with mine

They're your friends just sell them that shit for $7 a piece.

It's a meeting point between $5 super hookup and $10 normal 'customer' price

Local dispensary gets donations for our Organic Cookies at $15 package of 2-5'' cookies. 1.2g/ea cookie.

I like what sunni said, calculate cost and divide by amount of food. The average profit on pre-cooked food (not necessarily cannabis infused) is around 35%-65%.

However remember that is to cover overhead, employees and other incidentals that you don't have.
