I have completed a coco coir grow and now want to try NFT, I'm thinking of buying the smallest kit for it to get the hang of it to begin with before purchasing a more expensive and larger nft kit, my main concern is I want to use just tap water.
I know you can buy tanks that store water for you, but will these get rid of the chlorine when stored in there via evaporation?
Is a air pump/stone necessary for nft?
Whats the best range for water temperature?
How often should I do a full change of water?
I will germinate in paper towels, do I then need to put the tap root in small rock wool cube and then when it's rooted put in a bigger rock wool cube, and place that in to the nft system and run the pump?
Finally what's the best method to accelerate root growth in a Rockwool cube, maybe soaking a small strength nute solution? but won't my grow lights dry out the small Rockwool cube out until I put it inside a big Rockwool cube in to the nft system? I'm using mh/hps lights.
