So two and a half weeks into the new journey I have transplanted most of the seedlings into 5 liter square pots. Next run from clone i think i'll be going straight into these pots. I have a couple of clones not fully rooted yet, and two more strawberry cough seedlings but one I'm giving to a friend and one i'll be transplanting into a 10 organic soil batch to try out for the first time :)

Veg from seed update day 29 from germination, things are looking good/ and bad, some plants are showing weak pheno traits but thats the problem I knew I would run into doing only a couple seeds per strain....either way I'll only be transplanting the best looking plants in the bunch into 10 or even possibly 15 gal smart pots. My next flower run with the best of this batch will be low count but monster sized plants so prob 8 plants max vs the 14 i have going now. Also the bottom left plant in the 10 gal smart pot is my strawberry cough in the pre bagged tga soil/super soil mix and it looks very healthy and has been topped for the first time.

Looking great boss! I like the idea of larger plants, smaller number (and I have to keep plant count in mind.) What is your reasoning for cutting plant #?

Thanks alot, well for starters doing a 14 plant run is insane for me lol, they are all in 7 gal smart pots so they average in height around 3.5 feet from soil...theres just no fucking room to feed!!! its a damn jungle in there and a bitch to move around lol. I'm in the process of a wand feeding system. But even at that when i thought about it, the bigger the pots i transplant into the bigger and faster the growth is anyway...so it will be easier to train less bigger plant. I can concentrate more on the care i give to them as well. All while watering less often until they reach a certain size, not like I'll save on water or nutrients as they'll need more water when i do feed. I'm thinking either 6 in 15gal really big plants or 8 in 10 gal? haven't decided. I am allowed 24 plants being a caregiver and patient but I like to stay well within my limits anyways.

Update in the flower room day 32 , i bought a new blue lab ph pen as i realized too late that my old ph pen was off by about .6 so I def got some nitrogen deficiencies early...but oh well...it should correct in the next couple feedings hopefully. I have some purple colors starting to really pop out on my oddysey clones so I'm assuming by late flower they will be beauties :) I'm prob at the half way mark now for most of the strains.

Plants look huge and happy. . Are you diggin the Cree a19 set up?
Thanks as always hyroot, and that will be in my next update. Did some revamping to my reflectors and added some cfl to the mix, havent had to use them yet. But once I transplant into 5 gal pots to hold them over for another few weeks i will need to spread my plants out into both tents.

Ah damn, the same thing happened to me on the 3rd competition. Everything else looks great though!!
Thanks lol , yea I know big scale growing and love to keep learning ....but a 16 solo cup just didn't agree with me....but with that said I know for the next cup to use organic soil and ill use one led light dedicated to the process bc once my flower room got into high gear it pretty much left my solo cup in the shade lol

No red thread until I find the right house. Might go big boy like you ;) Only reason I'm still doing my shit cup is for entertainment purposes. I know you're a fellow light whore so I'll sub.

Big update in the journey my fellow growers! Roughly day 36 from germ in the veg and day 37 in the flower room. All veg that has made the cut are now in 5 gal smart pots and seem to be much happier than in there plastic previous homes after only 12 hours....On to the pics
Extremely happy roots before transplant, and luckily not quite root bound which results in continued fast growth

First pic: Top left/bottom right are both strawberry diesel with very close pheno types that are a bit stretchy sativa dom. Top right is critical kush indica dom, middle is s cough in super soil, bottom left is the mystery strain (Mr e) also in super soil.
Second pic: (lighting is the all cree globe reflectors) Front left is critical sensi star and it wasn't going to make the cut due to weird growth but had to keep it when i noticed it has two identical tops without me ever topping her lol! Front right/back left are both thunderbud with indica dom phenos. Back right is the second critical kush also an indica dom.
