how much was the yield? i have 5 trans autos that are two days old (just sprouted)
Nice Kush, you starting a journal?

I haven't harvested this plant yet, its got about three weeks left...that report was from another, much smaller plant...its going to be about 12 grams...give or take....I'm thinking at least a zip, zip.5 on this one...we shall see...

Hey Del, Found your thread and I'm subbed. Mind hitting me up with a brief synopsis of where your grow is currently? I read the last few pages and came across the above photo... I love that canopy. Great job.

Amaximus...that above pic is from another plant, not the one this journal is about, that one is a photo period Maui Wowie. Just another girl in my grow...are you looking for an update on the Trans? Nothing really newtopost on her, just finishing up...maybe another two weeks...she is currently at 58 days from germ...I'll post some pics over the weekend...if you want more info..let me know!! Thanks for subbing in!! :)

Ahh, Ok. you answered my question. I just jumped in on your journal and only read the last three pages and thought you already harvested the TS and were on a new grow. OK, Now I see where you're at. I'm along for the ride!

I also wanted to mention that my curiosity got the best of me after we spoke about PHing water Up/Down with Baking Soda/Vinegar...

So what I did was I PH'd 1 US gallon of tap water. I already had a gallon of water on hand from a few days before. It was left out overnight and then capped.
This gallon PH'd 7.6... I added 20 drops (about 1/ml) of Vinegar from a pipette and it PH'd down to 6.4... I capped it and left it overnight...
This morning I shook the gallon of water, uncapped it and tested it again. The PH is still 6.4 after about 18 hours. (It hasn't been a full day yet)

So, I didn't know where to post this and I wanted you to be aware of this little experiment so here it is. I'll PH once every day for a week and see what happens...

Amaximus: thanks for the little experiement. I will definately keep that in mind when I run out of my Ph UP/Down. I am sure I must have been doing it wrong. keep me posted if the Ph drops at all, just for curiosity. And to recap for everyone subbed in; In another thread Amaximus and I were discussing the possibility that Vinegar or Baking Soda will only hold the Ph adjusstment for so long before going back to what it was originally as it may evaporate from the water. It was something my local Hydro store owner had told me. As you can see by Amaximus's experiment, that does not seem to be the case. If anyone wants to chime in on this subject, by all mean!!

Updated pics on the way!!

Beautiful pictures, Del, They look great. What camera do you use?

Lets not jump to conclusions yet, We still have six days to go. :-o I just thought of something though... This is all based on the assumption that it evaporates and the PH doesn't hold... I'm keeping the water capped this entire time as I normally would. We may have to run a second experiment after this one but this time keep the cap off the entire week...? See if that makes a difference...

Enjoy your weekend, Del!

I use my Droid Razor camera...lol..and you know, I was using a 5 gal bucket and leavingthe lid ajar...so maybe that might have been it...I use the drops for Ph adjustments (for now...)...so if you want to try an experiment with the top open, that would be a awesome...and I'm sure your using an electric Ph meter...so it will be more accurate...keep us posted, we will get to the bottom of this!!! :)

Well, This little experiment didn't last very long... This morning i went to test the gallon and I kept getting funky readings... After trying to recalibrate it I noticed the probe was busted. Sent in a warranty claim and have another meter on the way... But this kills the experiment for now seeing as I have nothing to take readings with now. *SIGH*

As soon as the new meter comes in I'll start this up again... This time I'll do two gallons. Both exactly the same except one will be capped and one with not have a cap. We'll see if evaporation has any effect...

That blows bro, hope they get you out a new one pronto!! I'm surprised no one has commented on this little experiment...

I think I'm going to look into ordering a meter today...I'm sick of the sheer inaccuracy of the drop method...I'm sure ph accuracy will make a difference..

Thanks for keeping on this Amaximus...keep us posted!!

im just using garden lime as a pH buffer. Then only use the pH test kit to correct the water and feed, which takes about 2 mins. I do that to about 6.4 and ive never had pH issues so i guess it works! I correct the feed and water so they are accessible to the roots instantly and dont cause any shock before the soil buffers them. By the way i use hubolt nutrients structural integrity as a pH up, its pure silicate, which is apparantly the most (need citation lol) abundant element on the planet and its a vital part of all soiil, and the plants use the silicate to build strong healty plant walls so they become more disease resistant and get stronger stems :leaf:

*garden lime is either dolomitic lime or calcific lime, both of which contain calciium and magnesium but in different ratios. So i haven't needed to get calmag yet either and im half way through flower

The girls are looking great, Del... They're stacking beautifully...

I wanted to let you know that the new PH Meter arrived today and I'll be continuing our little experiment soon...
For the hell of it I decided to test that gallon I PH'd last week... It PH'd 7.0 - I think it was 6.4 when checked last but that was over a week ago.

@Mashew Thanks for checking in, and yes, very delicious and almost done!!

@Amaximus Thats crazy the PH went up after a week. Was that the one you left open or was it capped. That was extremely quick on that PH meter being sent out to you. Any new updates on the experiment. I am curious to see what happens with the it being open and not capped.

@Dameon Thanks for the Kuddos, trying to finish the TS up so I can get more of the Luxiourious Lumens you speak about directed toward the other girls. I really can't wait to chop thoose down and have a nice little variety to choose from. Thanks for looking in!!

Pic Updates coming on the next post...Day 70...need some opinions on if you all think she is done and if not how much longer...
