fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i got six white Russians 7 1/2 weeks flowering. and last night my timer broke so my light have been on for over 20 hours. Will this trigger hermies?
need advice please.

If its just one day... you're ok.

You should be ok. Just get a new timer and make sure your light cycle is ok. It's when it happens all the time what causes it to hermi. Happening once shouldn't cause it.

I dont think one time will do it but I could be wrong. Never had that happen before though so not sure. just get a new timer and cross your fingers. I think you will be fine

Guess I type too slow. And too much. LMAO.

I've never seen an AK-47 hermie.... and I've never heard of a White Widow doing it either. You'd have to try really hard to fuck up a White Russian.

yipp this is pretty much true, youl be ok, tip for the future have spares, bulbs etc.

You will be fine, no damage done from an extra 8 hours, as long as it isn't happening regularly you should have no problems. Even if they did hermie your so close to harvest that it would not have enough time to pollinate and make seed.

if your 7.5 weeks into flower with 1 week or so to go, even if you would have stressed to make hermies, i doubt they would show in that amount of time.. basically if damage was done to them, you probably will never know. just my opinion tho
i thought i read the hours on doesnt matter as much as making sure they get 12 of dark. someone had once experimented longer day cycles (when weedfarmer still existed) with 12 hours of dark and he grew some monsters.. think he was doing like 18 on 12 off or some crap.. i cant remember exactly since the site has been down for a year or so now, but he had the whole schedule typed out with on/off times etc and kept a journal for it and like i said, they were some monsters. he was the first person i ever heard of doing something like that tho.

Your probably right theirs not really enough time left anyway to affect my girls. lesson learned don't buy cheap timers from wally word they suck. this is like the third timer Ive been through in the last two grows, but at least these girls are huge and they will be coming down in a few days. I will get some pics up around harvest time.
