Fungus and "dry roasting" cannabis?

A patient recently donated some odd-looking cannabis. I was skeptical about it, but I knew the guy pretty well, so I trusted it was ok. However, after sampling it, I got a lung infection. Tonight, I contacted the patient to let him know and ask him why it was funky. He said it was infected with a fungus, so he dry roasted it in order to kill the fungus. He said it wasn't treated with pesticides or anything.

Is dry roasting a valid way to kill fungus? Am I pretty much fucked now? I'm waiting to hear back from him regarding whether or not it could be aspergillus.

I'm going to see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow, but I'm considering seeing a doctor. Fortunately, I'm relatively young with a healthy immune system. I still have a little weezing and coughing, ear pain and pressure, some abdominal soreness and a 99 degree temp.

Any insight or input will be appreciated....and obviously his donated pot is going into my "circular file". Thx.

Fungus spores are tough, Unless he burned it up it prolly didnt kill all.

I use heat to keep the grow room dy to prevent the fungus....

I like how he was concered about Pestacides but not fungus. lol

Oldreefer - you're absolutely right. I'm done with that asshole.

Scarhole- pretty sure it was grown outdoors.

.....it pretty much feels like a chest cold, but I made a doctor's appt. for thurs.

In all my years of been on this site and reading book's, i have never hear so much crap in my life. This kind of post realy pisses me off because this is why cannabis is illegal in so many country's.The person who gave you this stuff want's a good beating,he is a medical patient no wonder he is ill.Don't get no more of him and tell him the humidity is too high during flowering and to leave the oven for cooking roast dinners.
