I know it would raise the humidity in my room - but I've got a dehumidifier to bring it right back down. I haven't been able to find any articles on this, so maybe that's a sign that it's a dumb idea. ANY INPUT?

You would certainly kill some adults with the steam, but the larvae would be safe deep beneath the soil. I think you should be good with Azamax, but you will have to do a few applications. Azamax is just concentrated neem oil, so it shouldn't leave a "chemical taste". It is 100% organic.

I would suggest you pop by subcools organic sub forum. He has youtube vids, and pretty detailed explanations on what works, and how to use it. Spinosad (sp?) is another item that a lot of people use with good success, and again, all organic.

The adults fly around, and lay eggs the resulting larvae burrow and feed on roots. The peroxide is regular 3%. Use a 32 ox bottle mixed with a gallon of water and thats the dilution needed.

Yellow sticky traps will catch most of the adults, place them at dirt level for best effectiveness

Thanks guys. I've applied the Azamax already, and plan to do it until the last 15 days before harvest, or until they're all dead - whichever comes first. I know I should have covered the carpet with some plastic or panda film before ever starting my grow, but I neglected it for some reason. Soooo... I also mixed up a crazy strong concentration into a spray bottle and sprayed the carpet down real good!
