Fungus knats? I think so. Because of coco?

For the past few years I have been growing DWC, but due to heat issues as of late I was forced to move my entire grow to my crawl space. Being that its under the house and there is no drain or ez way to do bucket changes weekly I am changing my game plan. So I have settled on moving everything over to coco. So, a couple of days ago I transplanted a couple plants in 6" netpots to pots of coco. Plants seem to be doing fine. I just went down to check on them and they looked fine. But I did notice this in a little bit of the runoff that was left from the last watering;

From looking at pictures online I see they are fungus gnats. Doing some looking around my grow area I noticed these fuckers are everywhere. Opened up some of my dwc pots and some of the little bastards where in there too;

Now I do understand I am growing in a crawlspace so I was worrying about bugs. It just came as a shock that as soon as I added the two pots of coco that the problem started. I have been growing down there for a couple months and aside from a normal house spider here and there I really haven't seen many bugs. I know a lot of it has to do with the seasons changing and it getter warm out.
Please help.....

i'd spray neem or soap or whatever and innoculate the coco with bti (i like mosquito dunks). also id be careful about how wet the coco is (ik alot of ppl water it 4 times a day and i don't realy see a prob with that as long as they are grown into the pots well and drain well) some ppl like to put sand as well (i don't) hth

You know when I look close up it almost looks more like they are flying ants. Fungus gnats seem to have a slender body to where these things have barrel type bodies.

Lol those are prince and princess ants that left to start there own kingdom. Use sticky traps, fans help fuck up their flight pattern. It doesn't hurt to add these babies keeps the air cooler and better circulation.
Prevention is better than treatment. Like another member mentioned mosquito dunks or use dm. I would imagine if they got in gnats could too. So move quick my dude!! I hate those fuckers. Good luck.

Can anyone recommend a plant safe bug bomb? One that could be used in a crawlspace with not much height. I have a grow section and bloom section and its just this area I'd like to cleanup of pests.
