So I am a little new at this, however I will try my best not to ask as many stupid/newbie questions as possible. My plants are into their second week of life now and are growing under a 120 watt t5 fluorescent high output lamp and 4 25 watt cfls. So far theres nothing to report but I am just waiting another week or two till i can starting feeding them some nutrients. I am new to this site and trying to figure out how to post pics so bare with me. Feel free to
leave any comments or questions and any helpful advice would be much appreciated.

Hmm, Thing is with a lowryder is that its going to start flowering by then, id wait till its on its third of forth set of leaves and start with 1/4 or 1/2 strength mix and then slowly work it up, u only have 7-9 weeks total before ur chopping her down so its good to get it big when its in vegg.

also by the looks of the pix, how often are u watering? id let the soil dry a nice bit b4 watering again as you want the roots to go down searchin for water to help build a strong root system. and also id go ahed and transplant into sumthin bigger

geetee good calls on the transplanting when i went to the check on the girls this morning i noticed that roots were coming through the drainage holes in the bottom of the cups so i immediately ran out and bought some 6" pots and made the switch.

anyways I guess theres not really much to report on at the moment but in a week im going to start putting on my oscilating fan for a few minutes a day just to strengthen the stems, im hoping to start feeding them nutrients in 2 weeks but that might still be a bit early, but i guess all i can do is wait

The plants are looking great. The oscilating fan will help out tremendously by bulking up your stems. I would use 1/4 strength nutes on atleast the Lowryder #2 in two weeks. I learned my lesson by giving them nutes too early. Check out my grow I currently have an Easy Ryder(Lowryder #2 x AK-47) growing.

other than the nute burn those easy ryders are looking really good, im kinda worried i might have mildew or mold cause i may have over watered it and there are there whites spots on some of the leafs hopefully i wont have to kill my planys, but on a brighter note i have some feminized seeds coming in the mail so i guess it wouldnt be the end of the world

hey coolbreeze neem oil is perfectly safe for ur babies as it is made from the neem tree. jus dont mix to much as most neem oil u buy is prtty concentrated.

oh ok nice, i forgot which idiot it was but someone told me that neem oil coats ur plants and makes it more difficult for the leafs to absorb water, but i guess im the idiot for listening lol. Anyways thanks for the heads up guys i think i will go out and buy some this week. I also originally had planned to have more lighting but i had to use the 4 25 watt cfls i had for my second grow room, however i think i will go out and buy 2 25 watt t5 light strips so ill have a total of 175 watts hopefully that should be enough for my two plants

so im pretty happy right now the white spots on my lowryder are completly gone and the g-13 x buddha the spots have almost dissappeared and i havent even used neem oil yet. Anyways I suppose ill just have to wait for the girls to grow some more before i can feed it nutes. Im also hoping to get a bit more light because iv got some female seeds on the way so im hoping to have another two plants feminized plants to prevent any dissappointment if the lowryder and g13 both turn out male

So i was awoken this morning rather early this morning by a knock at the door at first i was pissed but when i answered the door i found a package outside, in it were my feminized seeds. i had alot of work to do, re-arranging one of my grow cabinets and setting up a second one for a hydro grow. Anyways I will start another thread about that one later. it is almost the end of week two and the beginning of week three I am going to feed both my lowryder and g13 a 1/4 strength veg solution and then week four i will feed the lowryder a 1/4 strength bloom solution and the g13 a 1/2 strength veg solution, if anyone thinks its still to early to give nutes let me know

Good call on the feeding schedule, I think it all will work out just fine. What strains did you get through the mail?

I got g13 labs feminized pineapple express, im fully aware though that there is no such strain and thats its just s hyped up name but i thought id give it a try cuz iv heard some decent reviews. and then they gave me 5 free feminized seeds. Im still waiting for my ch9 feminized hashplant and some other random strains i decided to get for the summer. but im pretty excited im gonna do the pineapple express in a hydro grow or soil but im still debating that.
