G13 Labs C99 would not germinate

I gave these seeds about 4 days in the paper towel and all they did was get darker, not even a crack! I'm not sure if I should be letting them go longer or if this was a shit pack of seeds.

Yep I had exactly the same issue with my cindy99 beans from mws. Dead seeds happen sometimes; you have no idea how old they are. Not a single one popped; don't feel bad man...next time get some cherry bomb seeds like Danks says; truly an awesome strain

I actually have some cherry bomb seeds( kinda went nuts with attitude lol ) but how is cherry bomb? Did it give you any problems or easy strain

It's very easy to grow, stays short and yields great. Sweet and fruity nugs with medium density.

Awesome thanks I was orginaly trying to save that one untill I had a few more grows under my belt since I only have one but I am tempted now

What other freebies did you get from attitude ?

The cherry bomb wasn't a freebie I got it with the pick and match but I did take advantage and combined a lot of there promotions (such as when I purchased the c99 from g13 I received three strains from there line then using a bank transfer I received 5 more, then the monthly deals etc )

My last Herbies order gave me 2x Afghani regs for free and both didn't pop.

I got 10x free seeds from Nirvana with only 2 of them popping.

If they don't pop within 48 hours, I scuff them with a nail file and soak in warm water with a drop of bloom nutes. It works about half of the time.

as for the c99 not germinating the one Put in the rapid rooter without soaking for 24 hours sprouted this morning...I must say its pale looking compared to the other two. It could be genetics suck on the ones I tried....But what is everyone's option out there on how it looks


also one more question before I start my day. Im having trouble keeping the duct work on the light I have a six inch cool hood with a 6 inch cfm fan with six inch ducting should i upgrade to 8 inch ductching so it fits snug over it because as of now i just hit it with a lot of duct tape to get it to stay

the ones that didnt pop i checked they have a tap root but stoped growing they already cracked and how long would u suggest soaking them for ? and I didnt plant all five I did two soaked in water then right in the rapid rooter with floating tray then I planted one without soaking and it just came up this morning i put some pics in the post above

You need o-clamps to keep the ducting attached.

If they get a tap root then the seed bank is off the hook. All I do is soak the seed in a shot glass and wait for it to open. I don't wait for the taproot to be a certain length. Once the seed opens, I plant it. Out of 50 seeds or so, I've only had 1 or 2 that germinated but didn't grow. I can't say it is anything but genetics.

The duct tape will get hot around the light and melt to it eventually, I did the same thing several years ago haha.

Looks good to me, looks healthy and normal. When they "taco" like that it just means you're giving them plenty of nutes.
