Lots of suction!!! You need a good fan. My 6' inline cools it down a lot but I know that if I had a better fan it would be much cooler. I think I will vent all my air in my tube from out of the box so I can add an additional fan on a thermostat and hopefully it won’t need to run all the time so I can use co2. As soon as I turn the fan off temps go through the roof.[/FONT]

alright i was thinking a cooltube with a 6inch inline fan at about 265 cfm the least,4 inch fan for exhaust with a filter and another 4 inch fan for intake..does that sound good???so i hook it up by putting the ducting from the cooltube to the fan blowing out or should it be pulling the air??i dont know much about inline fans as you can see...thanks for the help

You want to pull air through your tube. That way if there are leaks it is not going to push hot air back into your room. Personally I would not worry about pushing air into the box. I would save the money and get another 6' on a variable speed control or a thermostat and just use vents for your intake. (Well maybe not save money this could be more expensive). Vents also make it easier to keep the light out than using another fan as well. I got some cheap vents from my local hardware store for like $6 each and painted the insides black to help keep the light out. All I can say is my 4 x 2 x 6 box gets hot real quick and the more air the better.

ok gadget last question..if i face the inline fan up with duct on my cooltube and the other side in my growroom will it exhaust both my closet and light..i will add some vents on the bottom of my closet or just cut holes and connect ducting to it so light dont leak in..does this sound good or should i have two fans for that purpose..it might sound like overkill but im gonna put my 400 in a 2x2 -1/2x5-1/2.what do you think??

Yes but only at the height of the light any air above won’t really move too much and start to increase the ambient temp of your room. You can never have too much air. The more the better!!!! I did not get good enough fans in my builds and I am paying for it now (and I only have a 240w).

My final design will look like this. Excuse the bad drawing I hope it makes sense. If I had gotten a better fan for my cool tube in the beginning I would not have needed 2 fans. My inline really looses its pressure when I attach the ducting and make a few bends.

alright i will start off with the cooltube and 6inch fan and see how the temps are in the cab..if its too much then ill just get a 4 inch with a crbonfilter to exhaust the room..

I am glad I can see someone growing it because I went on "The Attitude" and it said you can get up to two pounds but how true this is I don't know because I bought some Northern Light x Skunk and put them into the rockwool last night.

Depending on the strain you can get that much be be advised i think that the 900g it says u can get is wet bud weight. after curing it loses 75% of its weight cuz its mostly water :mrgreen: hope you get some good females tho

Yeah, they only have fem seeds for this strain but I am just afraid it will get so fucking big and I am doing it in a PC case.
