i just found out asking him about the differences between his columbian gold and black (black is smoother smoking and HIS favorite while gold is trippier) and he gave me a heads up on that strain. that is so fucking sick sounding! you'd think people would STOP with the NL5 haze, G13 haze, C13 haze, afghani haze (why? LOL), and even blue and skunk hazes and start making jack hazes. jack herer spanks all those stony strains with it's trippy goodness and would preserve that buzz better with trippier gold.
i think i wanna buy some of that shit! then i could compare it to the WoS 25% NL5 x 75% columbian. at just 25% NL5, it could be close if both used good columbians.
i haven't ever tried GG's gear to have an opinion on it's quality, but i've seen favorable reports for it. regardless, man that is the hottest new cross i think i've heard in a very long time! such a keen grasp of the obvious! if he's usig jack f5, that should be a sannie's jack which even at f7, people name as top 2. mix that up with REAL columbian gold? holy effing crap!
columbian gold was the very first thing i ever got high off. if afghanis took over the scene 5 years earlier, i never would have blazed a second time. the cali imported shit i was getting for $40 A QUARTER & $10 a gram was crazy trippy shit. jack's cleaner 2 is the closest i've gotten to that buzz, but it has a much heavier, but functional stone and instead of giving you a light floaty helium balloon legs buzz, gives you one that really gets into tactile. it's one of those strains you find yourself playing footsie with yourself, or massaging your body on and getting into it. i don't know if sannie's jack f7 is exactly like that, but if it's even close, it would be the crossing of two of the best strains in the world for getting high. as jack f7 takes a few weeks longer, i'd imagine it to be even more sativa dominant.
man just the sound of this cross gets me wooden! the new and improved holy grail! the few hazes i've tried can't compare to the gold, but some are supposed to be legit. a couple breeders use JYD haze which is supposed to be real, but that's a cuttings strain. i had interest in his gold and jack f7 already. i'm not that landrace stressed that i'd want to grow 17 week plus stuff as i'd only want to speed it up with a hybrid anyways. imagine jack gold crossed with a trippy malawi gold, though that's not a hybrid.
hopefully, my JC2 x malawi will be something similar when i do those again, but that will hopefully be a 2x lemon cross. it's a common flavor, but under-rated to me.
jack gold is my kind of cross. i'd rather have that than my last buddha's $ister x G13 haze any day, but i bet the latter has an awesome flavor if it lives up to the sour cherry description. i have a pure BS fem i bet would be better with jack gold too than anything with stony G13.
