Thank you for the love everyone!
Several days of bad storms and I didn't know what I would find.
My favorite was tossed around and bent but not broken. My gf is standing next to it...you can see the hole in the middle.

Was nice to see these tho View attachment 4188672all in all everything looked great.
Yeah, that rain was a total letdown. The whole state was ravished by it. I assume last night was wild for you with the cold front coming through?

It will be 55° when I wake up in the morning down here. Then sun, all day again, finally. I won't have to water until Sunday, at the earliest, after all the rain we got. My girls are going to be very happy and motivated the next few days!

Is that cause for alarm? I know they aren’t harmful themselves but they’re there for food aren’t they?
Glad you’re out and about GG and on the mend!
No cause for alarm. I do have aphids, here it is apart of growing anything outdoors. I don't use pesticides so the ladybugs keep them at bay.
I think personally a healthy garden has both predators and prey. There should be some leaf munching...it's just what happens.

Thanks I don’t either. I’ve had some small amounts of leaf munchers and assumed that it was just nature.
I am in bloom indoors and out and I’m so excited!! This has been the best summer ever for me with this gardening. If only I knew the benefits 35 years ago!

There are all stages of baby ladybugs everywhere on my plants. Now I know why......lolView attachment 4189647
I need to see this in my garden! Good thing is, whatever is happening to you now up there will soon be happening to me down here!! Seems like my season is about a week behind your season. You started flowering, a week later I did. So I am looking forward to seeing some ladybug action in my garden next week!

I had bought some off of amazon. I thought for the most part they went away, but now my plants are loaded. Best 15$ I've ever spent ;)

I recommend if you're into ipm and beneficial insects/bacteria, do lacewing eggs alongside the ladybugs. The lacewing larvae don't fly. and lay their eggs amongst aphid infestations.
