Garage Grow Room 1.0

Hi,

Im new to the forum. Just wondering what you guys think about my setup. I am going to get 400w of 5200k CFLs within the next week. And the water heater does not get hot enough to effect temperature of the plants. In fact I was wondering if there are any cost-efficient ways of creating heat ( the room holds at about a 67 )

67 degrees is fine. I try to keep mine at 70

67 is fine u dont really need to create more heat if u dont want to. unless at night it get colder or is 67 the lowest it is goin to go throughout the crop??

Any reason you want cfls? 400w of cfl will add the same heat as 400w of hid. Yet it will be much less intense. Also it looks like you have some sealng up to do on those cracks around the piping on your wall. You want to control the coming and going of air and pests. After that, paint all the walls flat white.

can the fluoro idea, invest in a 400w hps, get some mylar or some tins of white paint..
