Does a CFL bulb give off more light from the top, or will it give off more light from the sides of the bulb? i was wondering if it is adventagous to put the side bulbs by a plant horizontally or vertically. I feel like i read somewhere that they give off more light from the sides of the bulbs instead of the top, but I cant find where that was. Any help, plus rep.
