General Health Checkup for First Grow (pics)

Hi guys, this is my first grow and my first thread (though I have read a lot on here so thanks all).

This grow is a Blue Mystic Auto from Nirvana and basically, I think it's just starting to make the transition into flowering (it's 4 and a half weeks old).

I noticed that in the last couple of days the new growth has become very compact and lighter than the rest of the plant. I'm not putting this post in the problems section because I'm not sure it is.

Having looked around a lot of people seem to attribute the lightening to cal/mag deficiencies but this tends to look quite different. However, it's worth noting that plenty of people have said that light green new growth is perfectly normal. Also, I've never seen a plant make the transition from veg to flower.

Anyway, obviously all plants look different and show signs of stress differently so I've provided a link to some pics.

If anybody could have a look so that I know I'm not killing my girl I'd be really grateful.

Thanks

They look okay to me. Your plants will go through some changes when flowering starts. Enjoy the ride.

OK, so this seems to have developed a little and I'd like to get on top of it if she's telling me something's wrong.

Here's a link to what she's looking like now.

(some of them you may want to right click and view original so you can get the full resolution)

Notice that the last set of top main fan leaves and some of the smaller ones have started to get blotchy/mottled with a light green coloration.

Additional details:
  • Strain: Blue Mystic Auto Fem
  • Medium: Soil
  • Lights: 1x 125w dual spectrum CFL and 1x 65w 27k CFL
  • Watering Regime: Pot takes 1L every other day (I don't have a facility to Ph adjust the water but out of the tap is shows slightly lower than 7)
  • vegging nutes: Bio-Bizz Bio Grow worked up-to 2ml per litre
  • Flowering nutes: Bio-Bizz Bio Bloom currently working up-to 2ml per litre
    • I started lowering the dose of vegging nutes as I introduced the flowering nutes, currently at .5ml veg 1.5ml flower
  • Additional: I also gave it a quick boost of Cal/Mag but this was a home made solution to supply nutes that aren't present in the Bio-Bizz nutes. I couldn't find anywhere that said how much exactly to give so I figured to aim low doing a bit of math I'd estimate that I gave it:
    • 300mg Calcium
    • 125mg Magnesium
    • 4mg zinc
    • 400 micg copper
    • 0.2mg manganese
Should this be moved to grow problems or am I just being paranoid?

I would check your temps at the top of the canopy level and see if they are creeping up a little bit.

As for nutrients, you can probably rule out under-feeding. I don't see signs of over-feeding so I'm wondering if you are just a touch too high on some element that is causing a little lock out.

I'd probably toss in one extra watering (when it needs it) between nutrient feedings and see if that helps.

Again, thanks Bugeye.

There is a chance it could have been temps creeping up like you said. Though the lights are only CFLs, the rig isn't the best what with it being my first grow. I think that she may have grown into a warm area between the bulbs. The lights have been raised up and there doesn't seem to be any signs of worsening.
