the plant is past pre flowers and is now showing flowers at all of its tops. Should we move to bloom for a couple weeks and then move to extreme bloom, and then ripen for a week before flush??

The plants are 4 feet, thick as hell and in 5 G buckets.

They are a kush.
See pics in my big kush and the PPE thread

actually that one is still in transition, but the other two are showing flowers now here is the pic. My question was in regards to when to increase from transition to bloom and then to extreme bloom ect..

basically when the plant enters 12/12 it is still in a vegitive state for a couple of weeks (on a 8 week strain) just mainly growing fast (not producing flowers). i consider mine to be in aggressive bloom at about 4 weeks when flower production is all the plant is really doing. i use the flora series and only use the M-B on my own schedule through veg and flower and it works great, so i couldnt really help you with a complete G-M-B schedule.

I did see that link, thanks. I guess I am looking at how many weeks of good weather and how many stages the GH feeding program. Say we go until October 7. That is basically 40 odd days from today. If we are on the transition stage for 1 week, then bloom stage for 1 week, then extreme bloom stage for 2 weeks then ripen for a week flush em out for the final week. This late flowering could really F things up. Realistically I dont think we will be leaving them in the dirt past Oct 7, but we'll see. It would be a shame to not let them fully ripen. I guess that's all part of the game eh?

Just to make sure we are on the same wavelength we are using the GH flora series 3 part drain to waste program for soil, or in our case Bio Terra. This is the same stuff you use in hydroponic setups.

Does any one have a recommendation as to what to add to the mix ,like flora blend or liquid kool bloom, or even molasses. Or just stick with what we were doing.

Although I could stick em in the shed every night to control light. A couple are in the ground and don't think we'll be covering them with black tarps.

October is going to rock this year and we will get a considerable yield.

I usually have about 6 weeks left before harvest (9 week flower cycle) when I use full strength flower nutrients and the last 3 weeks I use bloom enhancer as well, you did not say how long they have shown flowers for but October 7 may be early by the looks of the ladies.

Work backwards from your proposed harvest date and give 7 days (plus or minus) for weather changes, you will want at least 1 week of flush. If your sure about the October 7 harvest then here is how I would schedule it with the 3-part. this depends on where the plants are at in their flower stage)

October 7 -> Harvest
September 25 - Oct 6 -> Flush
September 17 - September 24 - Ripen
August 30 - Septemper 16 -> 3-part for flower plus any bloom enhancer you wish

I'd say they showed preflowers at least 2 weeks ago maybe 2 and a half. The actual flowers started about a week and a half ago.

Lets say we are 2 weeks into flowering. 37 more days makes it Oct 7 for a total of 51 days. Even pushing it to Oct 14, doesn't reach 9 weeks. From what I have read, Kush generally flower quickly, lets hope so.

Thanks for your advice, cheers
