Not one for learning huh? That's too bad. You'll just have to continue to be the example. :hump:

OMG HB just admit you are learning something and stop passing along shit information to new growers! How long have you been growing?? and you still haven't learned that those numbers 1-2-3 on the bottle represent % of element by volume of the whole solution........

I'm well aware of what NPK represents and where those numbers come from. I'm also well aware that companies sometimes give 'minimums' which means those numbers mean nothing at all. Another thing I'm aware of is the exact products themselves as they're what I cut my hydro teeth on. Buy whatever you want, listen to whomever you choose. I don't give a sh*t.

Not true about the false advertisement part my man. Even food company's which are way more strict then are nutes have a guideline to go by. Just because something says 0 trans fat is not 100% correct it just has to be less then a given amout to claim that. And with any type of chemistry nothing is black and white. Just the elements will change the make up of most chemicals.
I have used a lot of brands of nutrients and as of yet found one that I was 100% happy with. I am on Dyna-gro now and after this most likely H&G

wow, ok.. so.. you use those numbers to justify not getting koolbloom but then tell us those numbers don't mean anything when I use those same numbers to show everyone that it's NOT a better deal? Hypocrite..

Those numbers are strange. If you go to europe the same bottle has different numbers. That has to do with what 'elements' really all. We count oxides also. They don't. There is no way in hell that HB know's that or knew that. He's just grasping as straws at this point.

One day you'll get it, but until then, you're on my ignore list. It's not that I don't like having these conversations with people, it's just that I find you to be a little annoying. No offense of course.

well, whatever happens.. I want you to know that both of you had useful feedback and I found the information that both eDude and HomeBrewer provided to be very interesting and helpful. Thank you both for the help.

Please explain, for the betterment of everyone, how I'm wrong. Why would you not share if you're so sure I'm wrong? Use me to tell everyone why and how you're right.

whatever you do don't switch from heisenbergs tea. none of the bottled products like hygrozyme etc even come close.

heisenbergs tea opened up a whole new world of root health and plant vigour to me. i suggest experimenting with new tea brews. i add some of my additives to the tea instead of to my res like floralicious plus and alfalfa meal and stuff like that my results have been great and my root zone seems bulletproof now 2.

I was wondering if they (Pondzyme, Startzyme) are similar products because the ( Mycogrow, white shark, etc.) is very expensive. Currently using Mycogrow & EWC. :peace:

I would love to start using organic fertilizers and try some teas.. Im all about natural. I have 0% experience with them though, and of course have yet to use GH's Flora to the maximum effectiveness, so while I want to, I don't have the time, room, or resources to really start brewing my own teas yet. I thought seriously about using Botanicare's organic lineup for hydroponics, but decided once again to stick with the Flora series for now.

no i havnt tried duo but to be honest i dont have much interest in it. if i try anything it will be the maxi series.

my hydro shop guy says people have been getting good results with duo though if that counts for anything. he's a pretty reliable guy and i dont think he feeds me bs because i normally know exactly what im there for and he understands that he doesnt pull many sales pitch's on me

The Pk in the first picture identifies the plant as Purple Krush the second marker that reads GH symbolizes this plant was fed General Hydroponics Flora Series. They are grown in containers in a simple drain to waste using Canna Coco as the medium. I grew 9 underneath each 1000 and surpassed my goal of 2 lbs per light. This strain took 10 weeks to finish and was given no CO2 during flower.

Week 1 clones transplanted into half gallon pots of Canna Coco medium
Fed- 8 ml of Grow/ 5 ml of Micro/3 ml of Flora/ 10 ml of diamond nectar (this is actually fulvic acid you can tell by the color it's not humic acid they did this to get around registration fees.) 5 ml of Floralicious Grow/ 6 ml of Cal-Mag by Botanicare (i like this better than GH's Cal Mag) mixed with a gallon of RO water. 2.2 EC/6.0 Ph/Water temp 22 celcius.

Week 2 plants in half gallon pots under T-5 lights
Fed 10 ml of grow/ 6 ml of Micro everything else the same as week before 2.3 EC/6.1 PH/ Water Temp 23 celcius

Week 3 Plants transplanted into 5 gallons of Canna Coco and put under 1000 watt HPs
Fed 13 ml of grow/ 7 ml of Micro/ 4 ml of flora everything else the same as week before 2.8 EC/ 6.1 Ph/ 21 celcius water temp

Week 1 of flower
fed 14 ml of grow/ 8 cal-mag everything else the same 3.1 EC/ 6.0 Ph/ water temp 22 celcius

Week 2 of flower
fed 5 ml of grow/ 7 ml of mirco/ 15 ml of flora Everything else the same

Week 3
fed 5 ml of grow/ 8 ml of micro/ 15 ml of flora/ 5 ml of Koolbloom EC 3.2/ Ph 6.0/ Water temp 22 celcius

Week 4
Same as week before

Week 5
fed 0 ml grow/ 10 ml micro/ 20 ml flora/ 8 ml koolbloom everything else the same 3.5 EC/ 6.0 PH/ 22 celcius water

Week 6
Fed same as week 5

Week 7
Fed 0 ml grow/ 5 ml Micro/ 15 ml Flora everything else the same 2.6 EC/ 5.8 PH/ 22 celcius

Week 8
Fed 12 ml of Canna Boost/ 10 ml of Cannazym/ 6 ml of Carbo Load by Advanced Nutrient

Week 9
Same as week 8

Week 10
Same as week 9

Hopefully this is helpful to you. Remember this is a general guideline things like temp. and humidity can drastically change how you should feed.

Just Grow It!
