Germanite Seeds Turn to Shit

Ok, I've put 9 of my very expensive seeds on a small plate on a layer of tissue paper, soaked them with luke warm water,and drained off the eccess. Another plate was then placed on top of the first. 7 days later 1 germ'ed in 24 hrs and is doing nice, the other 8 started a tap root then stopped. Now the 8 seeds turned to mush. What gives???????

wow that sucks... I dont know that sonds weird... I find its easier to use a small dishtowel instead of any paper products... because they dont rip and they hold more moisture and I like them...
and as soon as you see root sticking out you could plant them...
