like between 1/4 and 1/2 inch

end of winter this month. summer is coming
indoor till it worms up then out they will go

what are you using for lights to begin with? nutrients after about three weeks.

that sounds good. do you have any nutrients right now or do you have to go buy them? when you get them us it like quarter strength of what the label says. get something with with with a lower npk. 5-3-3 is good. when you keep them in at night its good to shut the light off for awhile, it gives them time to rest and save some energy. you dont have to. its just what some people do.

Once you get to the point they need nutes use some fish emulsion 5-1-1.You wont have to worry about it burning your plants,but it does stink
