Germinating Seeds in Nitrozyme

Hi all,
I have purchased 5x Knockout feminised seeds and have let them germinate for (nearly) 48 hours in a 5ml/litre Nitrozyme solution. The seeds cracked at 24 hours and at 36 hours were showing the root.

My question is: what would you do next? I can either put them straight into root riot cubes in a propagator under a T5 light or do the paper towel method until more roots show.

what are they in now? just solution?

I only use diy soil, but I usually cover them and within 24 hours they usually start to peak.

I only use aloe and water. If you can cover the tops a bit in your root riots I say go for it!

Paper towels for 24 hours or so, to get the tails no more than 25mm is also okay too I guess. Either way they are going to into the cubes eventually? so why wait.

Yes, they are in the solution now. They have about a 2mm root showing. They will be going in the cubes during seedling, then being planted into Biobizz All-mix when ready.

^ Great!

I actually just transplanted about 8 new seedlings a few minutes ago.

They started in paper, because lately, I have had no success in solution only. 8 for 8 with the towels, lightly sprayed with a kelp foliar. Then stuffed into little ziplock bags and I trap my breath into them for co2.

[I had 20mm pigtails in less than 36 hours. No light! Just ambient heat for this person.]

Then into my soil mix , [perlite, compost, peat moss] No nutrients until about the 3rd node.

I give them a good watering right away and then moisten the tops every other day or so until they appear and reach the 3rd node. Just a mix of aloe and oxygenated water.

I used to use rooters for seeds, but now I only occasionally use certain types for cloning.

Good luck grower! Sounds like you have a good method. Stick with what works!
