Germinating Seeds

well i posted this question in my thread but i wont be able to get all my equipment until tommorrow or the day after do you think its a good idea to start germinating my seeds now just to get a head start or do you think i should wait until i have everything together.........thanx

another question 2 part one

-do i need a light while i germinate my seeds as well or can i just soak them in paper towel and leave them for 3 days

-about my seeds since i got them from a quater ounce bag i bout and it came with (22) seeds does it mean its garbage weed (when i smoked it it seemed good not the best but ok) i heard that the more seeds the least potent the bud is.........is this tru???

I think you wanted to post in a different forum..?? MAYBE even start your own thread.. go ahead, don't be shy... : )

1. No light needed for germination. BUT.. it there is an ideal temperature you want to keep your seeds at while trying to germinate them.. I dont know that temp.. but somebody will..

2. I think what people mean about the "more seeds = less potency" is a reference to the particular bag that the seeds came from. The more seeds a plant has, the less potent it is..

But that does not mean that the seeds, if grown into mature plants will be less potent just because the ORIGINAL plant the seeds came from had a SHIT load of seeds.. just NOT true..

3. Your seeds may produce CHRONIC.. or they may be week spindley plants.. It is the risk you take by using seeds of unknown origins.. because there is signifigant risk and work involved in growing marijuana, many people like to invest in seeds that are a SURE thing..

thanx alot garden knowm il definitly have to find out what temp i have to have my seeds in to germinate them.......... yea im just starting out so im going to see what i can do with the seeds i have now...... when i get better at growing il buy really good seeds as of now im just testing my abilitys.....il post the temp question in my own thread then when i get all my equipment il start a grow journal.........do you think i should start germinating my seeds as soon as i find out the temp i have to have them in so that by the time i get what i need il already have the seeds germinated and ready for planting

well this is more of an open question garden knowm do you think i should start germinating my seeds now since im getting all the equipment soon so that by the time i have everything i can plant right away or do you think i should wait???

-what is a good temp for germinating my seeds

-what light cycle do i put my plant on when i first plant it will it have to be on a 24 hour/2 week cycle and then put it on a 18/6 hour cycle???
