Germination troubles?

I just germinated some "Bubblicious seeds. I think I left them too long.

They are completely out of the shell and there are what look like two small leaves that are yellowish brown.

Is it worth putting them into the rockwool?

Another question, which way do you put the little stem sticking out of the seed, up or down?

Its hard to tell without pictures but usually a whit root starts out of the shell and you place the root down and the seed on top. I'm not sure how long you left it but I have never seen leaves until it is in dirt and getting some light. But then again I keep a close eye on them.
