Germination

so i put some seeds in a glass jar. filled a lil bit with water. no paper towel. and i know seeds need warmth so i put the glass jar on top of my CFL's. that ways like a damn week ago. why are they germinating so damn slow? do they need fresh air cuz i put the cap on the jar.

Hummm never tried that method before, i´ve allways used the papper towel method and so far 100% germination...but a week i think its to long...mines usually take 36H

if the seeds sat in water for more than 24 hours, you probably drowned them : (

damnit i knew something was wrong. ill go back to the paper towel method
