Germination

Hi Guys started my set up yesterday, Approx. 24 hours ago I got 5 seeds (AK 47's) and I put them into the paper towel which was wet with distilled water and left them in the kitchen cupboard overnight. It got pretty cool in the kitchen last night Id say around 5 deg. Celsius. Do I need heat for my seeds? If so should I put them under my veg light with a cover over them just to get the heat??

Seeds need to germinate around 25 C and in dark place. I put mine in pot with lid and placed it on my PC. There is warmer that in room. I was told that they germinate in a little bit warmer place than room temperature. but try not no overcome 30 C

I also placed mine in a plastic bag with it wrapped in a moistened paper towel. Then placed the plastic bag on a ceramic plate and placed another ceramic plate on top. Then just sat the plates under some light for the heat and it works like a charm!
