I put 12 bag seeds in rock wool 5 days ago no presoak or papertowels just used humididome and rock wool bit have not sprouted yet im wondering if they are to cold is there a temp that works best or should i just stay patient for another week. Any advice is appreciated yes its in a heating pad bit Idk if it's getting warm enough maybe 72 degrees

It takes about two to three days for the seed shell to split. Another day for the tap root to grow about a half inch. Another two to three to emerge. What you'd call a sprout.

Expect something soon. You can use a toothpick to spread the rockwool covering the seed.(If you covered it) Look down into the hole. You should see a premature sprout about to break the surface.

Right on i got the tent up to 80 degrees see if that helps thank u much buddy

Just curious, why did you choose to not soak or use paper towel method?
Because i do have2 good stains i didn't want to mix up all seeda are from some lemon skunk and dog shit i had gotten i guess i couldve used 2 cups bit didn't cross my Mind till just now lol sorry i get high Alotlol

I like to mix up a little bit of great white, cal mag and water sprouts with that. I don't add nutrients till I see roots coming through net pots, then I use about 1/4 strength Blue planet nutrients. If seeds are pre-popped it usually takes about 5 days to see roots. Sometimes sooner by a day.

Keeping your PH stable and rez temp at or below 70 at this early stage is crucial.

I'm getting ready to harvest a lemon skunk. Gonna chop it Sunday.
