Like the title says, trying something different this year and Need help from you more experienced fellows. I have the following ingredients and what I need to know is what ratio's would you guys mix these ingredients at. This is what I got to work with. I could get one or two more things POSSIBLY in time if absolutely needed but not unless its absolutely needed so help me out and lets see what it can do.

Cow Manure (endless supply)
Dr earth organic 7 (25 lbs bag) has many different meals in it, greensand all that good stuff everyone is ranting about.
Worm castings 30 lbs
Compost (endless supply)
Spaghnum Peat moss (2 bales)
Dolomite Lime (in the mail on its way)
Pro Mix Mycorrhizae 2 bags so far (2.8 cuft each) Not pro mix bx or hp or any of that stuff just straight pro mix Mycorrhizae== local greenhouse had it and swore by it, it's all they use for everything...?

I want to cut costs as this pro mix is $20/bag- I could add some of our rich fertile soil at the grow sites to this mix when i put it in the whole. (I live in some of the richest farm land in the world.) (Mn) ALL of my sites are in some crp land that has been so for atleast 5 years now so them shitty chemicals these farmers put down should be out of the way i hope. plus the sites are up high on rolling hills close to a small river but not too close. do you guys think this would be a good idea? to add dirt there to my mixture WE/You help me come up with? or what else could I use as a (filler) to cut down on this expensive pro mix? more manure maybe? :wall::wall::wall:

P.S. Sorry I already have another thread about this in the outdoor section, I'm just not getting any responses, well I got a couple of real good ones, I'm trying to compile atleast a couple good ideas so I have more than just one option and would like more input from a few more of you experienced growers. In no way am I saying they're input isn't good enough because I am very thankful for they're help thus far and I hope I can repay the favor of insight sometime in the future. Perhaps to somebody someday down the road who finds him/herself in this very predicament I find myself in at this very moment. SO thanks To ALL in advance.

Snag some kelp meal, even if you have to order it online. Not liquid, extract or concentrate, the meal. 5lbs will be more than enough for the amounts you have.

The greensand will compliment the kelp, but greensand by itself is very slow to breakdown and release.

Does the Dr.Earth have bone meal or some source of P for flower? Bone meal is pretty common and should be available locally. Lowes, HD, or any garden center. I'm surprised you had to get lime online in farming country. Farmers use a shit ton of lime.

Ya I looked around for lime here but it was all hydrated lime or pelletized lime. The hydrated would have worked I guess but I read up on it and it seemed that statistics showed it would be way to strong for this application? So, I opted for some dolomite online. Organics 7 says to have fish bone meal, feather meal, alfalfa meal, mined potassium sulfate, phosphate, seaweed extract, and PRO-BIOTIC seven champion strains of beneficial soil microbes plus Ecto and Endo Mycorrhizae.... Sounds to be some good stuff. I'll also be feeding with some compost teas, manure teas and as a backup I have loads of fox farm grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom left over. I've always used fox's lineup and teas over the years. I'm just looking to change things up a bit.

Also if anyone was/is wandering I've got 9 plants going. I dug 9 holes in different location, holes are 2X2X2. (standard size) plants of choice are early skunk, swiss cheese, critical mass and short rider.

I'll take a shot at giving some advice. I just mixed up a bunch of soil for my garden beds. :]

I'd go light on the Cow Manure, like 5% or less, especially if you have a lot of compost to work with.

I'd use whatever the recommended amount on the bag of Dr. Earth says.

The worm castings I'd go about 10%

I use a TBSP of dolomite lime per gallon of soil used on my indoor plants, so I mixed the same amount for my outdoor soil.

I'd go about 10% on the compost as well.

And then you can use as much peat or promix as you want. I'd use more promix than peat though, as I think promix has a few different materials mixed together.

Oh, and I'd grab some extra mycos. You can get a big bag from Xtreme Gardening for pretty cheap on ebay. I promise you'll be glad you did.

The teas and FF nutes should handle the rest, sounds like you're good to go!

For future reference, pelletized lime is fine. It is powdered lime formed into pellets with a fast dissolving binder. With the first watering, the binder dissolves and you have ..... powdered lime.

Hydrated IS to be avoided though.

Don't mix the manure globally with the soil, Use about 5% but put it at the bottom of your holes. It breaks down very very slowly.

Heres my 2 cents. If your not sure about how much ferts to mix in the soil....go less then feed teas as needed. You can always add more later but its hard to remove it when its mixed in the soil... : ]

awesome. I see you figured out real quick like where I was from. lol that looks like some good stuff you got there. sounds like some good advice as well. I've never really looked at menards for anything garden related I guess. I've always tried to stay local with the greenhouses around my area. They know me pretty well and they know I'm heavily into gardening so It doesnt raise any eyebrows when I ask for x amount of this or that. they just assume its for my veg garden and pass it off as whatever. So, I think I'll check into menards the next time I head into town with some time to spare. as far as genetics I'm gonna run with sensi seeds early skunk mostly i have a few swiss cheese left i got going as well as 1 critical mass and 1 short rider for the garden. hoping and prayin it actually stay SHORT. If it does i may really like it as long as the high is good. so all in all I should end up with something decent this year. lol btw the short rider is amazingly short as a seedling compared to the rest which are all well over 1ft most closer to the 2-2 1/2 ft mark. while she is hanging right around 5-6"
