Oh ya!! The baby boomers have the $$ and power. They get what they want.
If they started tasting high end pot for all their problems, it would spread like wild fire.
We should be promoting this on social media.
One problem. About 1% of pot is high end, for rock stars and millionaires.
The rest is mediocre at best.

So I run a little resort, and I had a couple in their mid to late 60's come into the office today and the conversation eventually focused on my dog who has bone cancer. The women right away say's their friend treated their dog's cancer with "marijuana drops" and the dog was cured. Looking at these people you wouldn't guess they knew what marijuana even was...made my day!

I dont know if thats entirely true. I went to highschool in the 80s. Pot was far more prevalent then than in the 60s. I was a pothead and hung out with pot heads mostly. Those that didnt...like preppies and jocks and etc... were pretty naive and ignorant about it all. They knew what pot was, but they knew nothing about the effects and so on... and even to this day a lot of people i knew in high scool remain naive and ignorant...but at least they dont believe the bullshit reefer madness propaganda and arent scared of it...

Many strange and wonderful things happened at the Rex. Most we had in there was about 300 people one night, filled both sides, a complete gong show. We usually had good bands, cheap booze and hash was everywhere. Early eighties we had a lot of bikers, but that changed over time. I more than likely poured you that pitcher of beer.... small world

hash was everywhere in those days. it was hard to find MJ but not killer black hash. i wish i could find that again.
i was even in a singing contest there. the guy running it said i could have won but was too drunk. i forgot when to come in for Johhny B Goode in the last verse of all things. it was fun though.
they closed all the A Circut rooms there. i was really sad when the closed the CI South. great bands too and i loved their pizza

Gold seal black 1/4s for $40... was everywhere

So was the black/green pot oil... grams for $20...we called it grease and invented the "zixxer":

Dump thee vial on a tabacco can lid
Sprinkle tobacco on top of the puddle
Heat from underneath
Mix it like hell or rather "zix" it.
Roll thumb sized "gaggers"
Choke like hell...hahahah
