Getting the resin from that grinder...

I have been using a way to extract resin from a grinder that gets you completely fucked, but it requires that you have at least a bit of weed, a used herb grinder, and a freezer.

1. Put the grinder in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes. The cold will freeze those trichomes caught in the grinder, making them much easier to get out.

2. Put a little weed in the grinder to help collect the trichomes. If the grinder is still frozen, then you will get all the weed and the trichomes that it contacts with.

3. Grind it up and be sure to get as much as you can out of the grinder.

4. Roll, pack a bowl, bong, whatever your ready to roll. Smoke it up and feel a nice strong high.

This method really works for me, believe it. It usually takes me 2 medium joints or a big fat one to get me this baked.

sorry about bumping this old thread but i saw it on google. Should i close the grinder when putting it into the freezer or should i open it up and put both sides into the freezer?

I need to clean my grinder...it barely turns...but I don't wanna lose all that shit that is causing it to stick in the first place...so I am at a cross roads...of life.

Recently I had some stuff that when I grinded up about 2 grams in my huge space case it would give me nothing. So I thought of what I could do to get more out of it, letting it sit out for a hour or 2 or shaking my grinder for a hour but still got nothing. Then I thought hey if u make bubble hash with cold and colder the better wouldn't the same be said if u grinded up stuff with a cold grinder and cold stuff. And 2 grams gave me about 10x+ the amount with less shaking then normal!!!
So if ur looking to make a lot out of the little bit u have take the extra 40 mins throw both the things in ur freezer. Take it out. Then break it up n put it in ur grinder and then proceed to shake for 15-25 mins for a magical suprize!
I shake it hard but be careful it will get cought in ur trays screws n get all sticky n nasty

I take it there are some people here that don't freeze their gloves as well?

Isopropyl alcohol and a small pyrex... Although i've come to find out that it drys out the grinder and it makes it harder to turn. All of that resin is also being a lubricant for the grinder, so it's kind of a "catch 22"
