Getting them bud fat!

I've just started week 6 of flowering and was wondering if the buds fatten up at all in the last 2 weeks?! At the moment the main cola is about has fat as a pool cue butt? bear in mind there are quite a few popcorn sites so all the energy isnt being used on the main top cola. the plants look healthy so theres nothing wrong with them. they are under a 600w hps being fed every 2 days with bloom and green sensation.

Never to late to rip out them lower useless popcorn site's,the bud after week six will just fatten up and any voids in the bud structure tend to fill out.That is why i love advanced so much because after week 4 start of week 5 i start them on overdrive and i have seen buds double in size.But i have never seen any other nute on the market do what advanced does.Also bang the ppm's up to 1800 for the final weeks if the plant still looks green and the coulour of the hairs in at a min then let them go for a extra week of two................................tyke.....................................................................................

give them a few it sounds like there sativa dom, what strain are you growing?

bubbleberry and lemon haze, the plants look pretty healthy got a slight yellow colour to the plant but its not effecting anything. I was just curious to how the bud will fatten in the last 2 weeks because im a newb ppl have said its quite astounding how much growth occurs in the last 2 weeks and was just wondering if its true. Also I've just take a small popcorn from each of the strains to sample, any quick dry methods anyone? lol

wrap in paper towel and microwave on 50% setting for 2-3 min at a time, or place on cookie sheet and in oven at 150 degrees for an hour or so...

I dont really have any quick dry methods but nice strains, they both take awhile to flower Ive heard, and if in 2 weeks they dont look done to you give them a week or so more to really fatten them heads up.

Serapis, Will i still get a high from it? Obviously its gonna taste crap and wont be as good as the end product but i just wanna see the kinda high its producing because there getting real frosty...

When I quick dry I get a cardboard toilet paper roll crimp one side shut, put the bud inside, close the other end and microwave on regular setting for about 20 seconds. Let it cool down, then do it again until it's dry. About 3 times usually. You can see the spots where the moisture sucks into the cardboard. People tend to exaggerate growth. You will get about 20% of your density and yield in the final two weeks before it stops growing.

Yeah i do actually, I have a kings kush and a rocklock about 6 or so days into flower about to give them there first feeding and take some pics here in a bit, as far as microwaving them i wouldnt do it, It works but it totally ruins the smoke, just cut a little nuggie off and set it somewhere with good air flow and it should be dry in a day or two without ruining the smoke depends on how dense the bud is

Nice you'll have to let me know how they end up! Im gonna try a quick dry in the oven just to sample, do you think i should trim it of just put the whole bud in?
