GH Exodus Cheese

I have grown the actual exodus cheese for 3 years, not the GHS knockoff, and have been a cheese monger for longer. Exodus cheese smells nothing like cheese that i've ever come across.
this is the truth!!, the stories that get passed around the net about a strain are bullshit. like i said above......

Now it tastes like parmessan and cheddar. No wonder these companies release these seeds, too many mugs not to take advantage of em :D

Can i just ask what people are meaning when they say that it smells of cheese? Even the mighty Dr Greenthumb states this.

Cheese does not smell of cheese, at all. It is called cheese because of how strong it's smell is, not because it smells of cheese.
I was in Grey Area with my wife about 4 years ago when a bunch of kids walked in and got the table behind us. My wife's back was to their table when she turned to me and said "What is that smell?" I looked up and noticed it smelled like feet and we both turned to the kids with a look and they said "cheese".

Man that shizz was potent. I didnt ask where he got it but at the time Homegrown Fantasy had the best cheese in Amsterdam. I think it was the original cut. The next time I went back to Amsterdam I headed to Grey Area and decided to give Big Buddha Cheese a try and was so disappointed. No cheese smell, no cheese taste, just a fruity berry smoke. Reading other smoke reports from Homegrown Fantasy and it seems they cant get that same cheese anymore.

I grew a GH Exodus Cheese last year and it stunk like a compost pile. Probably the stinkiest plant I've grown. The smoke was fantastic and definitely will grow it again. Thats a pic of it in my Avitar.

I grew 2 exodus in coco before xmas. 2 different pheno's. One short indica, other looked about 50/50. Both stunk like feet when growing. Dont smell as bad as my grapefruit diesel though!

I found exodus disappointing. Poor yield and an average high.

I'm currently running cuts from both pheno's in waterfarms. Hopefully i can improve on the yield. If not, i wont be growing it again.

The very fact that you have 2 different pheno's of "exodus" is all the proof neede to show it's a fake. exodus is a pheontype, not a strain so to speak, if it's a different phenotype, it's not exodus cheese.

I havent grown the true exodus cut, But the GH seeds isnt true exodus I dont care what anyone says,I believe it was x'd with it but its not even a ibl of the original.I grew out 1 fem cheese from GH and it smoked ok...I didnt care for it much at all though, kinda had a fruity taste...mellow kinda on the weak side stone did kinda smell of some funk bug i picked up the heavy spice to...I also had the Church going at the same time and it walked all over the cheese plant though i reaked of skunkass and had huge buds. IMO if I was to grow out another cheese again I would go with TGA CheeseQuake or something of the sort,From the grow reports I have been reading it hasnt been to hard to find a good true cheezy pheno, not just something named that. And to anyone growing it sorry im downing the GH version so much but I havent heard many great reviews at all on it and my experiance wasnt much diferent...But best of luck if you are and I hope you can change my mind and the mind of others. Stay stoned everyone!

The cheese I had, although I have no idea whether it was seed grown or clone grown, smelt and tasted like absolute Parmesan and Cheddar. It was the very strong, musky taste that lingered forever just like everyone is saying. But I'm telling you that stuff was sticky and smelt to me and my wife like straight Parmesan and Cheddar. The pheno we had was also most def Sativa. Every hit took you farther into the clouds. Def in my top 10 if not top 5 personal fav's of all time.

Wel it wasn't exodus. Exodus tastes nothing like cheese. And parmasan and cheddar in my mind, smell very very different.

They do not smell much alike to me, but I've had bud before with different accentuating flavors. And it might not have been "The" Exodus, but if it tastes like Cheese, and stuck to the fucking wall like cheese, and it smoked good.... It's good enough for me! :D

You can't tell the full potential of a strain by popping one bean. Even out of a pack of 10, you're not garunteed the keeper pheno, but you got a pretty good shot. Most of the time, the genetics aren't very stable. Even when they are, you've still got a pretty good shot at getting both an indica leaning phenotype, and a sativa leaning phenotype.

Oh yeah I know man it was just in a 5pack of mix seeds I had laying around. It BLEW though. I wouldnt ever buy a pack of them I dont much care what else was in those gentics lol. There church from the same pack wasnt to bad though so I aint ragging on there company but they wont see my money anymore.Id rather send it to american companys. But no to trueley see everything a strain has to offer you got to run even up into the hundreds man.So Yes its unfair to base my opinion of the strain on that one seed but if I was to grow Cheese again I would find another breeder. Try tga cheesequake or something... Atleast I would feel confident in what I am getting. The real cheese interests me but GHS just didnt impress me much in any forms... But with one seed, one cant bitch to much.

I most def would either go with tga, dutch passion, or nirvana. DJ Short had something on a website about how he bred the original BB Sativa. He showed how to figure out how many beans you had to grow out to find all the varying phenotypes for a given strain. It was interesting, I'll have to see about finding it again. Church is supposed to be a very good strain. A few of my friends have raved about it.

I popped 4 out of my five seeds and have clones off of three of the plants. The thing is I'm not sure really just by smelling and looking at it if I even have any different phenos going on
