ghb: doing strains justice one at a time

A wise man once said; So many strains, so little time (he then changed his mind and said; "so many strains, so little room", the first one applies to me better).

i like to grow one strain at a time and try my best to get it right, sometimes this can take a few attempts but i learn as i go.

here are some older grows that i feel came out as they were supposed to.

one of the ultimate commercial strains out there. i grew these in the middle of summer with no ac/co2 and got 1.6 kg dry bud from 1200w. great grow by anybody's standards. i feel the quality was high and i had done this strain justice. it was sweet in taste and very dense, the buzz was average and i didn't feel this strain was special enough to keep around.

CHEESE

this is one of the best strains to grow, smell, taste, buzz, yield, ease of grow, it pretty much has it all.

i only fed these for 6 weeks and i should have really fed for 7 but i was still amazed at the quality. allowing the plants to eat themselves before harvest really does improve the smell and taste of your buds. i got 1050g from 1200w again in the middle of summer with no ac/c02 with relatively small plants.

my c+ didnt work out this year because i got the boot out of an apartment and they were small so the outside killed them. that there though is a thing of beauty. dense weed is a really bad thing in my opinion, in a way im glad to hear it sucked because i lost mine, ur deal there looks grandios good grow

check out other dfem they rock ur triple x hanger is sweet too

random bagseed that was grown round by me. i called it lemon skunk but it could have been anything. a perfect sog strain, i never did anything to these plants except let them grow. this grow was during winter and gave me really dense buds for the first time with this strain (it was usually pretty loose but frosty) got 1320g from 1200w.

could have put an extra 6 plants in here and got a decent yield, as it was i only got 850 g from 1200w, the flavour and smell and buzz are all top notch.

when people find this thread there will be a world record for computers frying in puddles of drool

haha, thanks don. i also like looking at pictures of plants, but pictures only tell half the tale. when they invent smellovision we might be able to tell a better story.

i got quite a few pics on here, a lot have gone missing since the site gt hacked though, i'm a bit pissed at that because i have no copies anywhere else.

Very nice, I would say you are well on your way to doing them strains justice, and yes I am drooling.

What is your grow cycle like, those are hardy plants but do not look terribly tall; great yields for the size of those plants.

i am currently using 600w cooltubes and they suck for penetration, i usually get 12-15 of bud then everything below it is shwag hence the short plants. the cooltubes do have a neat party trick though, i can get them within a foot of the buds and it makes them really dense.

i don't like to veg plants, i can do 6 harvests in one flower room in a year with the right strain. i would normally grow cheese but this deep blue i am growing at the minute looks to be done at 7 weeks instead of 8 so i may have to start making that the cash crop.

best thing i ever did was start growing, i was reading on here long before i even started and it gave me the motivation to stop being a pussy and just do it.

i've had some highs and some real lows but i'm still here. back with pics soon.

these are pics from day 48, pistils are beginning to die off so i began the slow leaching process. quite simply they stink!. i'm happy with how they look but i can do much better, these were vegged for too long. i currently have another grow of these with 21 under 1200w and only a week veg, they are much nicer to deal with.

these are also on day 48 and in the same tent as the deep blue. my future plan for this strain are 32 under 1600w, they have really strong stems so they don't have problems supporting themselves when they get fat. these will prob go 9 weeks in total and they like to purple up at thge end which makes for some really nice bud pron. very narcotic stuff, night time smoke.

i fuckin miss my big tent. had much less problems and much more weed lol
