Hi all, have been looking at a few new strains to try and found the Greenhouseseeds , Greenhouse Thai strain. It also has a grow vid on youtube where they yeild 1.5 kilos of 1 plant.

http://greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=56

Seems like a really long flowering sativa that streches over 7ft, and brnaches out like a Bi*ch.

I know most sativas require a long flowering period but i think this ight a be a 16 weeker but for the outcome you cant really complaine.

Might get a 5 pack of Fem seeds and see what happens.

Let me know your thoughts guys any 1 grown this before :bigjoint:

It looks like another of Arjan’s, well its priced low enough and sounds decent enough to give it a try, strains.

While it is common to begin a sativa at 12/12 sometimes I will veg them and follow Uncle Ben’s topping techniques and then go to flower when I top. The last time I did that of 7 plants 6 had four colas and the other had three. They were a slight bit tall, but between topping as per Uncle Ben’s technique and ending up with so much growth energy spread out around a thicker bushier plant and going 12/12 early they were not giants, just tallish. I believe I would do the same with the Green House Thai.

If say you were just looking for a quality sativa and if I were to suggest several sativas that would likely be preferable options I might say try Reeferman’s “Willie Nelson.” It worked for Willie. Another would be Reeferman’s “Cambodian (Phnom Phen)” and one more might be Reeferman’s Panama Red. True sativa connoisseurs rather like them.

Yeah have been thinking about doing a good sativa might have to put a bit more homework into it. Have about 6ft in height to play with and of course would love to keep yeild in mind.

Will check out the strains Brick Top thanks mate :joint:

If you have a full 6’ of usable growing height, and enough lighting to use it, and if you start from 12/12, or top, and be prepared to do a little tying down … then yes you could grow a pure sativa with good results.

Remember, topping produces more bud sites and more bud sites increases yield.

Yeah have had great results topping before, might give it ago again. Have been looking at GHS alot lately and they have some good Haze / sativas so might give it ago but not sure what exact strain as yet. Maybe the Arjans Haze 1 or 3 or just the Greenhouse Thai

I know some people bad mouth GHS but just have to go down the trial and error route.

hey whats up i've also been looking into this strain, i'm planning on going down to the vancouver seed bank and pickin up the 5 pack today myself. my other strain i'm growin is about 70 indica/30 sativa so it'll be quite a bit different. planning to tie it in a spiral shape and let all the branches grow up towards the light

Omfg I finally get to be useful. Just chopped GHS Thai 4 days ago at 15.5 weeks. I'll give a weight smoke report in a week ish. Scrog is recommended, I had to even force some lockout to slow growth. They like 6.1 In soil but arjan says 5.5 in his vid. And it's a total bitch about feedings, treat it like an autoflower unless you need to slow growth in flower, yea I know it drops quality but some nubs just like me see seeds for 35$ and say yehaw before we even googled what a sativa was.

Well after a joint I am happily baked, It has a lot more potential but I'm happy. Nice thick smoke, taste is sort of a roasted peanut resiny bark flavor, unique discrete scent but the after smoking scent is nostalgic. 7/10 but it was my first time.

just ordered some of these from SoS. cant wait to grow it. the review on youtube by GHS themselves talks abt it growing tall, taking really long to harvest, and a not-so-amazing amt of yield but i like the honesty lol. and glad to hear that its scroggable

Yield is fine, just sativa fluffy, weight isn't everything. Potency, quality and surface area come into play with fluffier weed, making it par with the dense buds, just not as appealing. I'd give you a weight but I don't have a scale
