so i have learned alot from other journals and am convinced sharing is caring. thanks for your help. i am here to provide my own if requested. i am proud of how my grow is turning out. it has been 4 weeks of reading, adjusting, researching some more, buying stuff, adjusting again.. you probably know...

my seeds started around the 26th of October. that makes them 23 days old from the actual smoke tray they were plucked from and put into germination. i have no idea what variety or age of seeds... i simply picked the biggest and best looking ones.

so as i uploaded the pics i've taken today, i compared them to the pics i took 6 days ago. they show some remarkable progress, yes? today i'll show off. tomorrow i will post my ingredients list. tell me how they look though please?

the first set of plants are getting close to having lights cut to 12/12 from constant 24 hours, soon, maybe sunday? a little help please?

i started a second set on the 16th using the shot glass method. the first set of 5 is almost ready to cut lights i think... so i started a 2nd closet for the new girls. i took the 4 17W grow lights and put them 3" from the seedlings in a much smaller closet. i think i'll use this for the 1st month of each set, then move them to the bigger room from now on. here's pics...

so after posting last night i knocked one of my girls over. she took a good hit, but i was planning on moving the biggest girl over to a bigger bucket and had it ready. when i knocked over the one i quickly put her into this bigger and permanent planter. it's just a 5 gal. bucket from a restaurant.

Nice plants and set-up. Give it more light if you can. The more the merrier. And with tubes you can put it right on top of the plants without burning it, but 1 inch in case. To prevent stretching put the light as close as possible. Growing good right now, what kind of light are you flowering with? HPS?PC? You can't flower with your current light. You need 2700k bulbs or at least 3000k bulbs. 18/6 hour of light is perfect for veg stage. How long have those been veg for? OTher than that nice grow bro. I'll help as much as I can.

the setup is as follows:

1 42W CFL soft white
4 26W CFL daylight 6500k
2 15W CFL bright white
total of 9100 lumens

4 2ft. flouros are being used to germ/veg. each is 17W/unknown anything else, packaging is minimal.

1st pic is self explanatory. 2nd shows wally's grow light packaging and what happens to a $9 - 36W - bright white - CFL when you screw it in by the bulb instead of the base...

I agree. Having a little breeze would make the stem stronger. And those are great bulbs for veg. But you would need 2100-2700k to flower in the future. GL bro

i've done a few additons to each closet. a small desk fan to the small closet, some new bulbs and a reflective blanket in the bigger room. i have 5 survivors from my initial batch of 12 seedlings that are now all potted in 5 gallon buckets. (i ruined 4 others by not letting them germ long enough and by knocking them over). i finished re-potting everyone 2 days ago and have completely left them alone until today. i do have a small peep hole to look at them, but i haven't gotten closer. the smell in the room is getting very nice. :weed:
i think the pics should be self explanatory.
